I've had the misfortune in recent weeks to have received 2 faulty items from both here and a direct competitor of here and have had to use both companies RMA processes and thought I'd share my experience of both for the wider members.

Now for the minute I wont name that competitor but will say as much as that they are pretty big.

1: Competitor
Item - 500W OCZ PSU
Fault - DOA

Now I raised this with the company the same day I received it (Friday 1st Nov) but it was at around 7:30pm at night, I finally received an RMA number from them on Thursday 7th and I returned the PSU the same day, they received it on Friday 8th at 11:13am.

It didn't then get tested until Monday 11th and was confirmed faulty, as of this morning the replacement still hasn't yet been despatched. Columbo sad :(

Turnaround time - 9 workings days and counting.

2: OCUK
Item - ASRock FM2A75 mobo
Fault - No display

Raised this with OcUK via the forums on Friday 8th at 18:10, I didn't expect a reply until Monday 11th due to the weekend, I got one on the 11th at 9.25am with RMA details sent at the same time.

Sent back the motherboard the same day, Ocuk received yesterday, tested yesterday, confirmed faulty yesterday, new order created yesterday, picked and dispatched yesterday, out for delivery today. Columbo happy :D

Turnaround time - 3 working days

So basically I cannot speak highly enough of the CS team here, I myself work for a company that prides itself on high levels of service and know the difference a little bit of competent service can make and I'm also aware that people shout loudest when things go wrong so I thought I'd do some shouting about the things that are right! :D

Keep up the good work!

I had the same experience when I RMA'd a 3TB hard drive I bought from OCUK that arrived faulty. They received and tested it then dispatched a replacement all on the same day which I then received the next morning. Very happy with that :).

Then last month I RMA'd my graphics card with an intermittent fault, received by OCUK on the 23rd, 24 hour stress tested and posted back on the 25th. The fault didn't happen during their testing so no replacement was given but I am still happy with the time taken and I'm sure their tests were thorough.

They are good at OCUK. I have been the first to flame at them but they always come through. Recent RMA has a lil' problem but Bailey-man sorted it for me

I just hope they never reach that tipping point where they become so large they sacrifice customer service, e.g. Razer

:)

OCUK customer service is excellent, i sometimes look at prices elsewhere just to make sure it is competitive but i don't buy from anywhere else because i know i will be looked after here.

Well i get to test the OcUK RMA again because the motherboard I received on Weds is dead as well.........ffs!
