New Never Settle titles for R9 cards?

Yep I understand that. But the fact remains people are swayed by freebies too and currently nvidias offers are better which help offset the price of the card, couple with the fact previous top tier amd cards awarded gold tickets for 3 games. Then factor in most people buying a 290 a serious gamers who probably already own bf4 you can see the major disappointment.

Free is free you are correct but it still feels like you are being slightly cheated

I wish I hadn't redeemed my gold code now on 3x games I'm unlikely to play when there's some good new stuff being added

You say in one breath that the games supplied by nvidia will offset the price of the card and then in another say the game supplied by AMD is dissapointing.

You completely fail to mention the fact that BF4 can be sold and also offset the price of the AMD card as like you mentioned most serious gamrs already have it.

If AMD cards were priced the same as nvidia cards i could understand the logic (well sort of).

Yeah the bf4 can be sold. Say the offer is only availabe on the non ref cards when they come. Say Aboutt then retails at 360. Bf4 will sell for 20 quid so that brings the price down to 340 for a non ref 290. Lovely. Then look at nvidia 390 for a 780 knock 60 quid off for the 3 games brings you to 330. So its not that great. I dont know about you but often I look at deals with the intention of getting things things like games that I want, not to sell to offset the card. With the case of bf4 you will find most gamers alrady own it so will be selling it or giving it away. I would actually prefer a silver ticket so I could at least get a copy of thief.

I just feel amd have missed a chance to swing things further in their favour. If they had said ok 290 buyers get bf4 and a silver ticket then everyone's a winner. Not only is the card better than nvidias 780 its also cheaper and comes with games people want and arent just trying to offload to claw some cash back

Gold, Silver and bronze codes can only be used against current Never Settle games campaign and the games it offers, so I'd suggest you use them before they go to waste.

The 'for ever' bundle is especially poor when the previous campaign gave Crysis 3, Bioshock and Tomb Raider. It's a bit of a joke to include games from 2 years ago. I guess it might get a couple of different games before it expires (end of the year, I think).

This is a guess.

I suspect they will keep that to the end of the year with games they choose to enter into it.

Any new big amazing games will be a new campaign and require new codes, this is what I suspect them to do, that way they have not miss-advertised.

Ah ok then based on the current campaign I would assume that thief is included. Regardless I am going to wait as long as I can to redeem (expires 31 December) just in case different games are added.

But surely, only offering or should i say giving you 1 game for the R9 290 edition cards is a bit poor, especially when its a game 99% of serious gamers will already own, and those buying Crossfire will end up with a redundant code, then offering a choice of 2 for lower tier cards is a bit of a smack in the mouth. Im hedging my bets that the 290 cards will come with BF4 AND a silver ticket, if they dont then its a bit of a poor show.

Wait just so to clarify...for the existing tickets, they cannot be redeemed against games that are newly added to AMD's bundle listing before the end of the year? :eek:

Only way to be sure is if someone redeems the code and tells us if they receive thief!

I assume so, but they'll send the keys out closer to release similar to when Bioshock and Crysis were added.

I hope this is all in place for when the non ref 290/x come out, that would be ideal (for me at least)! I feel sorry for all of those who bought the BF4 editions at a premium if they're just going to give it away for free.

They won't be as Gibbo already said that the cost is higher for them. Expect it to be closer to the BF4 premium card cost less the launch window pricing increase
