Currently using 580GTX in SLI - Shall I upgrade to a 7990 or a 780/780Ti?

Currently got the following spec system:

Intel i7 2600K @ 4.6Ghz
16GB Corsair Vengeance
Asus P8Z68-V Pro Mobo
2x GTX 580 in SLI (1.5GB ones)
2x OCZ Vertex 450 Series 256GB
in an Antec 1200 case.

With the constant need for more FPS (coupled with some spare cash) I'm wanting to upgrade. I've worked out that BF4 and other games never max out my CPU so my graphics are my bottleneck.

Would you guys recommend a 7990 or a 780? (Maybe even a 780Ti). What's going to give me the best FPS?

I currently play BF4 on High (1920x1080@144hz) and get a few drops in fps, I'm wanting to play it on high/ultra with around 100fps and I'm torn between the two. Do any of you have a similar system or have you made the jump to one of these cards recently? With the drops in price I can't pass this up.

Will the cost difference between the 7990 and the 780Ti be worth it for me?

I'm currently running a triple monitor setup so wouldn't mind something which can handle that well too in games (no doubt both of them will be fine).

Cheers guys!

My thread comparing my old 780 HOF overclocked vs my new 7990.

Should answer most of your questions.

My 780 at those speeds beats out a stock 780Ti and is not far off clocked ones! Either way the 7990 is the faster card.

However, in a couple of titles Crossfire doesn't work (Assassins creed 3 and Rome 2), it uses more power and is a bit louder but otherwise it's the better card overall.

Thanks for the reply dude, Although I am quite the Nvidia fanboy (always seemed to have issues with AMD cards in the past) I am leaning toward the 7990 so far, maybe it's just the cost difference, I'll check out your thread too. I figured some other people would be having this discussion but whilst at work I couldn't spend loads of time reading through forums haha.

Game wise I stick to BF4, League of Legends, CS:GO etc so AC3/R2 aren't a problem. I think I should be okay.
