Maybe I do have a preference towards the PS4.. Given I'm getting both at launch gives me the right to speak my mind.

The ps4 is a much better design from a hardware perspective. The clunky size of the xbox, the fact you can't stand it up, the fact that its frickin HUGE, the fact that on the spec sheet its 20% slower, the fact that its being heralded as a tv box, which doesn't allow for DVR, the fact that its a $100 more well the list goes on..

Outside of a perhaps weaker launch set of titles, its very hard to fault the PS4 at the moment.. Trust me, if Sony made all the same blunders as above, i'd be giving them a grilling too. ;)

I'll definitely be getting extended warranty this gen just for piece of mind. I doubt I'll be upgrading my PC again so the ps4 will be my main platform for the next 6-7 years.

At the end of the day, if it turns out to be a bit iffy until later revisions are released I'll just keep sending it back to get fixed. Same goes for xbone, pain in the ass but whatcha gonna do?

You're not speaking your mind though, you're coming up with wild accusations because some people are saying they have a broken PS4.

And let's be honest, there is no "maybe" here, you've very clearly indicated how much you lean towards the PS4 ;)

I walked from Folkestone to Dover today... and discovered I still have no head for heights! I also think I spotted our container ship of PS4s arriving in the channel.

720p console or one that wobbles when you press it down in one corner? yes I know what console im getting :D :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
You can tell when some thing has no real faults when a small bit of movement when you push down on it is made out to be some big deal. Its quite funny. :D

Or in some cases a rocking console that in some games is only pushing 900p.

But this is the completely dedicated gamers machine... right.... right? So ever single game is to be expected at 1080p with a solid never dipping 60fps, right, I mean if it s soooooooo much more powerful.
