Well, I tweeted Roy@AMD, and he said I have his attention and that I should 'stand by'. Don't know if he is talking to higher-ups now. One can hope and pray they will make this retrospective. It has only just hit me, release a card then bundle games not even 2 weeks later? hmmmm

Had my ticket for a while but have all the games already apart from theif so it would be a waste for me at the moment. They should have mixed the games more and not use most of the ones in the 8 free games bundle.

The missus agreed rather than buying presents for each other we'd buy something for the house... Watercooled crossfire 290x maybe?!

Nope.

BF4 is not free and only cards which clearly show they come FREE with BF4 get BF4.

You can only pick three games are what AMD offer, which you can pick now or before end of the year, it is unknown what other games AMD might add if any, but the chances of them adding BF4 is slim to no chance at all.

So the BF4 promo is false? I have looked about and can't see anyone else with the promo, although I haven't looked hard in truth.

It isn't false exactly. Essentially AMD will only provide BF4 with new shipments which places like OCUK and others won't do as they still have plenty of the original stock. Seems to be a very odd stance!

Seems reasonable that resellers don't want to order new stock with BF4 at a higher price while they have lots of stock without BF4. AMD's being stupid.

Sound like a perfect upgrade for a house to me. Although i know this will be such a sacrifice for you sometimes women have to come first and farmvile and tesco direct are very demanding

Catch 22 for those wanting BF4 and a new GPU then.

They will wait till stock is sold to get the promo but no stock will sell, as people want BF4... A little out of order IMO.

I've told AMD and their partners the score, you give me the codes which I am happy to pay for, I am the buyer and the customer and you will give me what I want, otherwise you won't be getting any orders for a very long time for new cards and NVIDIA will steal all your market share.

They have my demands, now it is upto them.

i want to know if you only get BF4 ticket with say an R9 290 and nothing else, as it seems kinda odd they are giving a silver ticket with the lower tier, which is 2 games, and many people looking at a 290 already have bf4 so your paying extra for something you dont need. If they lump a silver ticket in also that would be perfect, because dangling just bf4 at people isnt going to cut it when previous top tier cards gave away 3 games, not 1 game that most people already own

When you buy from OcUK you get a silver ticket anyway for the current Never Settle Forever on 290's. Check the product page the product items clearly show you what free items are with products.

Yeah I know Gibbo you guys are great and giving us really awesome deals however im not intending to buy a 290 until the non ref cooler versions are released. So im guessing at that point im at the mercy of what AMD are bundling with it. And BF4 isnt exaxtly getting me wet as I already own it. If they were giving BF4 and a silver ticket that would be awesome as I would use a silver ticket to pickup some games for me
