Her parents must be so proud.

A computer science student who boasts of sleeping with up to three men every week has been named Britain's Horniest Student after entering a degrading online competition.

Elina Desaine, 20, doesn't even know the names of all her sexual partners, but tries to keep track with handwritten list using descriptions such as 'French guy' and 'third year' to recall her trysts.

The University of Exeter student received £500 and a year's supply of condoms after winning the competition run by controversial 'no strings attached fun' website, Shagatuni.com.

I don't think "horniest" is the right word. "Sluttiest" is better. What's the difference, I hear you ask. As far as I see it, you can be horny and have lots of sex with the same person, but to be slutty you have to.... put it about.

Should competitions such as these be encouraged? Having sex with lots of different people for fun, well, OK. But for cash? Surely that encourages people to sleep with more and more people for competition. Which opens all kinds of cans of worms, STIs, emotional insecurities, casual intimacy. I mean who's going to settle down with this girl comfortably knowing her seedy past ten years down the line? Dunno if I could.

One thing's for sure, her vagina must look like a dropped flan.

You mean girls today aren't all virginal and chaste and actually like having casual sex?

Bet she has no problem getting a job in the IT industry either ;)

Unbelievable, and how very sad.

Good luck to getting a job in the future - though I doubt she'll be remembered. She's not that attractive so no wonder she was happy to use that sort of site. I mean if you want to get laid at uni why the need for a website? It's basically prostituting yourself - pretty pathetic if you ask me.

She looks ok, nothing wrong with her.
The reporting however, it reads like a story in the sunday sport, rather than an actual newspaper. Even for the daily mail it is poor.

Absolutely. I had loads of 'fun' at uni. All part of meaningful relationships though, which has far better payback emotionally [though not financially]. However, if you only want no strings attached sex then maybe you're scared of real intimacy. And it'll only make things worse in the long run because you'll start to see all relationships as expendable.

Agreed, spot on.
