Britain's "horniest" student wins cash prize for bedding three new men a week

Positive note though my right forearm looking swole.

Q: Why is it OK to make assumptions about Rob's charactor from another thread and then use that against them in this unrelated thread?
Those are not facts you've presented they are just a negative personal opinion, this surely makes your comment a personal attack?

I've seen the same sort of comment a few times now and it always gets ignored by mods, so maybe I've misunderstood what constitutes a personal attack in here?

You're right, everybody's point should be taken on its own merit, regardless of the poster's pre-evidenced prejudices.

At that sort of frequency, there can't be much of a emotional connection. It's basically just borrowing someone's body to masterbate with.

Regardless of her selling her sorry for pretty cash, I feel sorry for her

I wonder why that is?

Our social structure is set up to put women in control of sex - sex is framed as something that men have to earn from women. Not as much as it was in the past, not by a long way, but it's still there to a significant extent.

A feminist would see this as being harmful solely to women. A feminist somewhat past the least sexist end of feminism (all feminism is sexism, obvously) would see it as being oppressive solely to women. A more exteme feminist would see it as being hatred of women.

A masculist would see this as being harmful solely to men. A masculist somewhat past the least sexist end of masculism (all masculism is sexism, obvously) would see it as being oppressive solely to men. A more extreme masculist would see it as being hatred of men.

An advocate of sexual equality would see it as being restrictive, unfair and sexist to people (and would genuinely understand that "people" includes men and women equally, which neither a masculist nor a feminist would really understand). It places different pressures and restrictions on men and on women, but it places them on both.

I'm an advocate of sexual equality. Feminism and masculism are easy, but they're wrong. Unless, of course, the desired goal is either endless sexism or the elimination of one sex. That's not my desired goal.

This is blatant nonsense. Our culture puts men in charge of sex. Men are free to sleep around without social repercussions and indeed are hailed as heroes, but women are socially punished for doing the same (for example: much of this thread).

This is because of the dated idea that women are men's property, and their sexuality needs to be controlled for the benefit of men.

Regarding your comments about feminsim, masculism (chuckle), and equality: you simply don't know what you're talking about. Feminism would eliminate this double standard, and bring about equality.

Just because women are "socially punished" doesn't mean they're not in charge of sex.

If I went to a random woman and said "Have sex with me" I'd probably get laughed at. But if a woman came to me and said "Have sex with me" I'd feel obliged to please her.

Really? Even if she was a 27 stone munter with terminal acne?

A more accurate summing up would be: women have more to lose in having sex, so tend to discriminate more than men. Usually. But not always. This is not just the whole double standards "****" thing, but simple biology: they can get pregnant. And if anyone thinks that women can stop sex by saying "no" they might need to read up on those rape stats again.

No it wouldn't at all. I'm all for equality and I suspect so are the 'lipstick' feminists. But the hardcore, devout feminists don't want equality, they want control and use propaganda under the banner of equality to recruit impressionable members & get what they want.

Look at the recent furore with lads mags. According to feminists it's shameful and degrading to women to have scantily clad women in print because it's objectifying them. Yet it's perfectly fine for there to be half-naked men on mag covers, to have women ogling men stripping down (diet coke/minstrels anyone)

Feminism IS a double standard.

I agree to a point, but feminism, by the merit of its own language, further removes women from men and prevents equality. It's a power struggle at best. Discourse that ignores gender is the only real way to equality, and yet is so deeply ingrained in all cultures that it seems a near impossible goal.

+1

Feminism long ceased looking for equality and instead seeks to assert itself over everything else. Feminism in no way, shape or forms brings about equality.
