been waiting a long while to make this thread, when i used to hang out in the pc gaming forum, the high res screenshot thread was my favourite, used to love looking through the shots, some of the shots introduced me to games i would never had bought.

i was so happy when i learned that both consoles could take screenshots, so posting them should be super easy.

only issue is fannyboy wars...... going to inevitable since this thread is for both consoles, could have separate threads but it would be a shame as it would be great to have screenshots side by side

if you have any 360/ps3 screenshots they are more than welcome here too.

i adore dual weild hand guns, especially magnums. but why have they got acogs? you cant zoom with duals right?

Eh??? Surely this is a worth while 'thing' to do on the PC as people are running different graphics cards and drivers setup but on xbone/ps4... it will look the same :confused:

i.e. the same game will look the same any ps4 or xbox.. so really???

Its not all about showing the differences, and as far as I remember I don't think I read PC specs being put with the screenshots in the PC screeny thread, and lastly Xbox and ps4 won't look the same some will look very similar like NFS rivals, others may not

to me its more about seeing games I don't own, also just love looking at ppls screenshots. Some ppl take some stunning shots. I guess its similar to a random picture thread or say like a gt or forza/horizon screenshot thread but this time all games are welcome. Im looking foward to it. I'll go hunting later today and update this thread.

I'm not sure how compressed that image is, I don't even know what quality the ps4 or x1 uploads@. Since next gen can actually take screenshots I think a screenshot thread is needed.
 
Yeah I agree and will hopefully contribute when I get my new machines. I actually think that Ghosts shot looks okay! On phone though...
 
mods can we have permission to post higher res shots like the pc thread has? 1080p would be max until 4k which would be rare anyway.
 
Think this is a good idea, Its not really all about how it looks to me (aimed at people saying all the screen shots will look the same)

Its sort of like in game photography to me, different people will take screens of different things and you can get a look at them before you buy some games aswell.
 
I will say now though, if the thread turns into a bitch fest, with people moaning about how games look on a particular console, I'll shut it down. Let's just appreciate the screenshots without turning it into another flame war. Fair deal?
