Woot, did a 4 wrap on 32 awg kanthal...checked the ohms 1.8 bang on..exactly what i wanted...wicked it with some cotton wool. Chucked it on my paps x mod and dear mother of god mind is absolutely blown:eek:...what a hit, just got a bit of a nic rush but god damn this paps x hits hard...harder than my mini provari. Coil is popping like a devil on heat, cant stealth vape with the paps x:p

Pleased for you mate.
Now get yourself an Igo-W (or other dripping Atty), drill out both airholes to 1.2mm, grab a couple of high Amp capable batteries (Sony 30A are great, but the Panasonic 15A aren't so hard to get hold of) then stick a dual microcoil (M3 with 2x 10 Wraps of 28AWG 0.3mm Kanthal) should come in at 0.7-0.9 ohm...

:D..sub ohms you say?? hmm might just do that at some point.
 
Tbh this thing is great.... It is sort of like smoking but it tastes nice and you can do it inside without stinking up the house, I forgot how much I like the action of smoking, because I was using nicotine gum before but it is not the same as smoking an ecig.

I think this setup is a massive bargain from "myepack.co.uk"... protank mini 2 v2 + 1000 mah EVOD battery + charger = £25 delivered and it came next day.

I really hope that the government do not regulate these in 2016 and make them prescription only or something, because really it is nothing to do with public health, if they were that bothered about public health they should be banning smoking not vaping.

Can anyone recommend me the best sites for some good quality Juice and also the best flavours? I got 3 Dekang flavours and only one of them is remotely nice tasting, vanilla mint, anyone used Vapology? Or is there better places for juice?

Weren't you the person who wanted to stick to a budget? If Shinyitis has caught you then you're in for a potentially expensive ride. :p Research what you're buying though, there is a mini version of those out soon.
 
Before going after mods like that, NirK, maybe hit RedMogg up for one of his coiling stater kits? You'll get a feel for what you like when you start rebuilding your own heads. As an aside, don't throw away any of your heads in the mean time! :)
 
Magneto clone with Protank in 18650 mode, this is my first go at mech mods, I have micro coiled the tank with 7 coils of 0.25 kanthal which is producing approx 1.8ohms. Considering its my first go, the thing is firing ok with decent vapor and flavour, though I do think that the Protank is holding it back a bit and am currently looking for something better to replace it with.

The quality of the Magneto seems pretty good though I cant compare it to anything with it being my first mechanical device.

This setup cost me:

£20 for the Magneto (Ebay)
£10 for the Protank
£13 for a Xtar charger
£10 for 2 x efest 18650 batteries

Around 5 quid for the wire and stuff for re-wicking, so mechs dont have to cost the earth :D

My Fave vape by quite a bit is Snake oil, like a fruity unique flavour with an aniseed after taste.

Are you supposed to take it apart and wash it with water every time you refill it? I am going through this mini tank quite fast.... Already refilled it twice today! I think I lost the washers... Does not seem to leak though, anyone know where you can get replacement washers for the protank mini 2?
 
Just done my first coil on this rsst and holy **** I wasn't expecting the throat hit i'm getting, its came out at 1.9 ohms and was a lot easier than I thought it would be.

I've got some monkey jizz in it at the mo and I was expecting a better flavour than my protank 2 and iclear 30, its different but i'm not sure its better.
 
Have a serious choice ahead of me, as per my previous post about selling my mechs, still not sure what to replace the mechs with lol so far i have 3 options but all 3 have their problems with availabilty or a price point or indeed both.

Nemesis with a kick 2 is one, always wanted a nemesis but everytime i go to buy one or stay up when the batch is released every single one is gone within minutes. Last batch took 4 mins 32 secs for every combo to sell out.
Provari 2.5 in any colour, these are just expensive.
And Lastly a DNA20 mod of some sort, would prefer tube mods, but by god there expensive and not good looking so would be a box mod of some sort.
Anything else i may have missed?

Nope just keep refilling no washing needed.

I don't think I will actually get one because I am skint ATM, But I have not seen them before and they look cool... Other than looking nice and shiny, do they actually have better performance than something like a protank with a VV battery?
 
Also while im here coiling my kayfun with a micro coil and cotton, can anyone who uses the same combo explain why most of the time i get a harsh taste, almost like its not smooth, i know on silica thats usually a dry leg or coil or strangled wick, but the cotton isnt in tight and when rinsed theres no burnt cotton.

2mm drill bit, 8 wraps of .30 kanthal comes out to roughly 1.4-1.6 most of the time, lifted, just above the airhole by a fraction, using a nice 50/50 monkey jizz at present.
