Hi,

Ran the benchmark and I'm only getting an average of 67 (physx off) at 1080p on an i5 2500k at 4.7 ?!

Is my cpu holding me back.. All other games run fine in comparative tests, but this one is way off ?

Any ideas

If SSAA is off then your results are pretty low, they'd be about right with it on. Can you check with Afterburner (or whatever) to see your CPU usage?

If you upgrade CPU, the 3770K is your best value option.

I've monitored this using afterburner, when the frames are at 50(odd) the cards are around 60% and the cpu around 80%. So this doesn't scream bottleneck to me ??

If they're all at 80% then you are probably getting held back by it. Although it's not 100% flat out, it can mean it's too busy to respond to essential things in time.

If GPU usage is at 60%, it's a bottleneck unless you've got Vsync on (Which I don't think you have)

i5's and dual GPU's aren't a good combination for the newer games to be brutally honest.

What Intel needs is a Hexcore with no HT on the 1150 platform (No IGP) at 300 quid. But it'll never happen.

I had same issue in High demanding games, You want to know your Issue its the i5 2500k :(

To get full usage out of my two card's I had to switch to an i7 2600k

100% the issue is the i5

Most lightly threaded games won't gain anything really from an i7, but multithreaded ones like Metro LL want core/thread availability. Overclocked cores don't work the same way.

I'd look for a second hand 3770K. Otherwise consider an upgrade to a 4770K/Z87 system.
