Really hoping that one day linux will come back to the PS3 I still can't believe they took it away. Now the PS3 is EOL we can only hope right?

Sony has recently said that there are 300 (no more;no less) games plan in the future of PS3. I don't think Sony would let the PS3 sell less that 100 million units total, if they did it would be there first home console not to break 100 million.

I think there's still some untapped markets for both the ps2 and ps3; they was considering releasing the ps2 in china.

No chance at all. It's not a feature many people even care about (for legitimate reasons at least) anyway so there's no reason for them to do so.

Wow that is amazing for a console released in 2000 to still have a big game released for it, incredible, thought big games companies had given up on the PS2 years ago.

Its the same as Fifa 12/13 with updated teams. Hence why they call it "Legacy Edition" So EA dont put any effect into the PS2 version, same with the Wii.

The only reason why I would install Linux on my ps3 would be to bench the hell out of it to see how powerful the cell processor is actually is.. Not sure if it actually uses all 7/8 cores of the CPU.

Linux never had full hardware access anyway, so you couldn't do anything particularly useful with it. It was a niche feature which a tiny minority of people made a lot of noise about when it was removed.
