Getting bored with these 7950's and thinking of going with Nvidia.

Got my eyes on a couple of 4Gb 760's, what you lot reckon? Seem decent enough.

Wish I'f snagged a couple of those 4Gb Zotac 670's when they were on offer, finding someone to trade with is a pita so selling up and buying new seems the best option.

God I hate the upgrade itch :(

For the love of god man what's wrong with you? Don't even consider switching unless you plan to buy a minimum of 2x780's. Give yourself a good slap round the chops for even considering 760's over 7950's. #2cents

Maybe im not the best person to preach about this, ahem. :p

It is going to be a downgrade even if you get GTX770.

You need GTX780 to make the cost of the upgrade worthy.

Agree with matt.

Unless you need 3d vision and/or physx a pair of 7950's will slap a pair of 760's about in the majority of games.

First things fist. What do you mean by bored? Do you have major problems with them or ... ?

Currently I wouldn't advice you to upgrade to anything considering you got 2x7950 which will go strong for quite a while. Even if you would upgrade to 2x780/290X/780Ti, the performance increase wouldn't justify the amount of cash you would have to pay for them really.

I say you are better off in waiting till 20nm series hit, since then I would think that an upgrade will be worth your while, but as of now, you would get fairly low performance increase which I really doubt, would justify the cost.

Getting around ~7600 on fire strike with a single card at 1.2Ghz.... Overclocked 760's only get around ~6300....

Hmmm..... Are there any 760's that allow voltage control? Or any modded BIOS's?

^^ This.

Why not just go from two 7950's to a single 780 / 780ti? Could add a second later if needed. With a single Ti you would get similar performance when overclocked as dual 7950's, better performance in games that aren't so great in crossfire, but uses less power, no dual issues, physx, shadowplay etc.

Not 760 for gods sake, from 7950 noooooooooo..............760 doesn't have the grunt to push much more than 2Gb never mind 4Gb. If you are bored then try a 780. :D

Sod it, if you fancy a change do what i did and get a 7990. :D :p

Even when its at stock, throttling and knocking 50mhz off its core clock (950mhz as per this review) its still miles ahead of everything else.

+1 very good card :D

i would either get a 7990 or SLI GTX780ti but, the SLI route is very pricey
