Do you think we need a list of peoples ids and what they are getting? Id love to see footage via that PS World thing of people playing games I might be interested in - it would have been cool if there was a collective page for each game that featured just your and your friends comments/activity feed so you can get a good feeling about a game and purchase it on the basis of that.

Has anyone pre-ordered from Tesco and heard anything from them regarding launch day or available bundles? On the Tesco website it says they will contact you prior to release to inform you of your pre-order status but I've not heard a peep. Hoping I'll just be able to queue up and get one at midnight.

Consoles are manufactured for a specific market, it wouldn't matter. They don't just spontaneously decide where to send them.
 
Where is the cheapest place fora years playstation plus at the moment please? How much of a trial do you get with the console?

LOL why doesn't SONY say the owners of the 0.4% of faulty units should return the PS4 for another one instead of making them test 4-5 possible different faults it "could be"

If indeed it's only 0.4% which is a great figure as it's usually as high as 1-2% of units then why give people the hassle of trying to find the problem?

Because that would be incredibly silly if they had issues which were easily fixable, not to mention the fact that it's sold out everywhere so won't be as simple as just swapping it.

Except they haven't issued a FIX according to the report just switch off and on :D and some faulty hard drive seating

I pre-ordered with them too and got the same email(s) today, a bit strange that they sent the emails today instead of the 15th.

Anyhow, I checked my bank account, saw that they hadn't charged me, so I just went onto the website and pre-paid for my order today.

Hope that will work out ok and not mess anything up.

Yep, basic troubleshooting that should be done before returning anything. Would be pretty silly if somebody has a loose hard drive and then sent their console back for that wouldn't it.

There is a website for this very thing. It has just ocuk members on there and lists what games you have a long with your PSN id. I don't remember the name if the site, and I'm on it ffs! :p

Maybe it would be a good idea to have a thread dedicated to it? Like we have 3ds username one? OP could maintain the first post with ain't of id and games owned??

It's a dedicated component either way, the main difference being that it's internal rather than external. Doesn't make it automatically less likely to be faulty just because it's internal.
 
Honestly who is doing the quality control on these Ps4's a chimpanzee with down syndrome? Even I'm fighting the urge now to cancel my mega bundle pre-order with Game. :mad:
