AMD R9 Series + Battlefield 4 Promotion: Official Q & A

As bad as basically telling us hardware beta testers to stuff off is I think it's worse to find out a 1000 keys will be going to total randoms on some garbage information harvesting site and not at the absolute minimum been offered to the people who bought the r9s at launch even if was just the first 1000 to apply for the codes. Pathetic.

I am seriously considering spending my 290 refund on a nvidia card, the only thing we can do as consumers is not buy the stuff they sell, but knowing both companies are pretty underhand doesn't make it easy.

AMD are losing credibility faster than Jimmy Saville right now, they must have the worst PR team on earth to not be doing damage limitation on all these black screen issues nevermind this rubbish with battlefield 4.

I want to see proper coolers for the R9 290.

If these aren't available in the next week or so, I'm just going to buy a 780.

That's how I felt so I got a 780 ! (I wanted a 290 with Windforce cooler though)

Are AMD partners going to offer both stock cards side-by-side with bf4 bundles? this is what it looks like?

Hi Martini1991, I'm pretty sure you're referring to an email you have received from AMD about the BF4 Code you have won. Don't worry about it, leave it blank since you're not a US or Canadian citizen, it doesn't apply to you.

In general a Tax ID number is a number given to US business to ensure proper tax collection and year-end calculations are made and reported by businesses to the government.
