My lady has nicely paid for my ps4 to be delivered on the 29th from game via PayPal the money has left her bank account but game are now saying that they haven't received payment by email.

Yet when she goes on the website the website says there's no outstanding balance to be payed but speaking to them on the phone they can't tell us what's going on they are unsure if its a glitch in the system and wether its been paid or not.

To say she's getting stressed over it is an understatement anyone else having trouble with game and their preorders
 
Speak to her bank if it's in limbo they will tell you, also if they haven't received it within 2-4 days it will be back in your account anyway so could always just pay via card and not PayPal
 
I don't know what's going on their end she's had to wait on the phone for nearly an hour to speak to a person she's getting it me for my Xmas present and was going to surprise me with it but came home from work she was nearly in tears over it getting the console I'm not fussed about but her getting stressed I am

Basically game have said you'll just have to wait and see what happens if it turns up on release date or not which is as bout as much use as a chocolate fire guard
 
I would have thought Game should be able to check if the money went through okay using the Paypal transaction reference number and confirming which address the payment was made to like Robert said above.
 
These muppets cancelled my BF4 order without any reason, card details have been on there ages, card works fine, clearly an issue at their end. I've gone with Shopto, should have from the start.
 
I feel like an expert on this based on my Xbox One order.

I pre-ordered and paid £20 deposit via PayPal, I then got an email from them needing to pay the remaining balance "Urgent Information about Your Next Gen Order - Please Complete Your Payment!".

I paid and got an error when it returned to their website. I did however get an email confirmation from PayPal and Game saying the payment was confirmed. Via web chat Game confirmed there was an error and that it needed sorting. This took about a week.

After they said it was sorted I got an email saying "Your Next Gen Order Is At Risk - Please Complete Your Payment!" even though they had confirmed everything was ok and this was sent in error.

It eventually moves from unshipped to shipped yesterday although I have had no further emails. I recommend speaking to them online on https://game.whoson.com/chat/chatstart.aspx?domain=www.game.co.uk. They should be able to take your invoice ID from PayPal and check the payment was ok.
 
Everything should be fine then, you have nothing to worry about.

That's not entirely true. Just because it seems like the email has came from that address, doesn't mean the company have actually sent the email themselves. I've seen many an email come from legit addresses but the users did not actually send it.
 
Crikey. Has PayPal now earned enough trust that people will pay for big things with it? Last time I used it when eBay just bought it, there were multitudes of horror stories about PayPal.

I sent payment last night. Emailed them this morning asking if they received the payment and they said not yet.
 
Did you resolve your issue? I am going through the same thing right now.

Here are the emails they sent me in reply.

We have not received any payment as of yet and your console will be due to be sent out to you for release day.

I forwarded the email I got from paypal to prove I paid.
