mortars are very useful not only that get a decent gun on and use the mortars to see where people are ;).

some maps with buildings you can mortar but at first it may seem you cant you just gave to judge drop or position just right.


just played lancing damn we took first two points in minutes. me another go rush up with mortars our guys plant they drop back we mortar points so cant defuse.
 
Got a new one now - 1 in 3 times I click deploy I get a black screen and app crash - might be due to the new nVidia drivers I just updated to maybe.

EDIT: It was just the server I was playing on - other servers don't have it.

EDIT, its back for me. Had a CTD and then i couldnt get back into battlelog!

Cant wait for them to sort the crashing bug out.

Personally I like to stick to the same shell all the time as it just messes up my aim/guess for drop etc. if I keep swapping it around (same reason I use same scopes on every gun)

Sabot shell is far too weak when against other tanks, only guaranteed victory if:

- the enemy tank doesn't know about the angles with regards to max damage
- catch them by surprise
- engaging at pretty long range

You eventually get use to the drop etc. of the HE shell

So I did.


C4 + a rooftop + 12 of your team sniping from it + friendly fire ON.... ;)

Needless to say having done this a few times they bucked their act up and we managed to win :D

Keep playing with the mortar every match and you will overtake westie's total jet kills in no time :eek: :p
 
Only time for one game tonight and of course it had to be on Hainan ******* Resort. Hate that map. Most satisfying moment was ending a sniper's kill streak right at the end. So many snipers on that map.

Hit reg seemed to be well off again. Either that or there was some shenanigans going on. I think I saw a PBBan mentioned somewhere.

They new weapons are DLC weapons, until battlelog gets updated when the first DLC "China Rising" is released they won't show up.

The devs "apparently" didn't mean to release them early. Another Dice/Ea balls up. But for once in a good way.

The PBBans notification is just that, a notification that someone has been added to the ban list. It's not specifically from that server, it's just got PBBan Announcements turned on.
 
First look at operation metro:


TBH it is kind of annoying how DICE/EA are giving all this exclusive footage to lvl cap and not the other smaller channels who need it more (+ imo are better)

Liking the improvements not to mention it looks much better without that stupid gay ass blue filter they had for bf 3............ but it will still be a grenade/rpg/m320/claymore/c4 cluster ****. They could have really made the map amazing with a big levolution event i.e. from die hard 3 with the train or/and given us the ground above metro to use too.
 
Well I'll say it now I'll not be buying it until such time as all the packs are CHEAP! I'm still gutted I purchased ARMA 3 and this BF4
