The new setting brings some fresh wind into the sails of the Assassins Creed series. Colorful and full of life presents us with the Caribbean Sea. Beautifully illustrated azure waters invites you to splash a, creeping and crawling all over the local fauna and in the streets of Havana City, Kingston and Nassau offers us a series of typical, authentic-looking population. Atmospheric makes Assassin's Creed: Black Flag everything right.

No Titan benched but pop it between the 780 and 780Ti I guess.

Edit:

No idea what Benhed is, so I have asked the mods to change it to Benched :D

It is demanding and poorly optimized like AC3.No matter if i changed settings down or to the max i sill had pretty much the same fps.

it is demanding, and at the same time the optimisation doesnt look the greatest but there is a day one patch...just gotta wait till Friday me thinks. I'm getting mainly 60fps 90% of the time at 2xmsaa and all other settings at the highest and HBAO on high. But, it does all of a sudden drop into the 40's for no apparent reason. Took some screenies here with overlays http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17732710&page=630

Stunning looking game, wish they had an ingame benchmark test though

for $hits and giggles, select 8xEQAA(16xAA) and watch the frames tank lmao.

uPlay says the 22nd for release. So not sure why it's available on Steam now. My copy I activated with my Nvidia code isn't in my uPlay account yet either : \

Just seen it is on Steam from the 19th, which is strange, as UBIsoft sponsored the game...

Some confusion over the release. I got an email saying it had come out today so downloading now. But I to thought it was the 22nd.

Oh well, 99% as we speak :D

Was getting poor performance with a gtx 780 and 2600k so I did some googling.

http://www.dsogaming.com/pc-perform...s-creed-iv-black-flag-pc-performance-analysis

The game isn't using my i7 or gpu efficiently but I managed to get smooth fps with shadows on very high and smaa. Soft shadows and msaa or txaa dips the fps and the game suffers from low gpu utilization.

Hope it gets patched soon. I am using the latest Nvidia driver 311.82.

Edit: 331.82 is the correct driver. Sorry. :)
