*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I have both the 360 and a PS3 and enjoy them both. The PS3 does get more use but I pick what games I buy carefully now, if it's a multiplatform game I will buy the one that comes with more freebies, dlc, etc.
I have had a ps3 die on me, repaired it and it went on to last another year or so, but my original 60gb fat is still going strong. Never had a 360 RROD on me, but more luck than judgement as I traded my old 20gb in for a 250gb slim. Not overly fussed with the Kinect, great for 5 mins of fun but didn't hold my attention for a longer term.
I will be getting a PS4 before Xmas and will most probably get a XO sometimes next year when the price drops.
I can see the pros and cons of both systems, but for me I can see the benefits of having more power under the hood with the PS4 in the future.

likewise i moved in a couple of weeks ago and sky ****ed up my order and got piushed back to december 6th when today was suppose to be the day they swictched it on!

At my old place my internet is turned off now so i cant access my Server PC their (
 
Just wondering why the XB1 seems to have had a free ride over its £430 price , when the PS3 price at £425 was a scandal?

When really the PS3 with Blu-ray was much more useful and at the time amazing value for money if you wanted such.

6-7 years ago £430 was a lot of money. times have changed and things like ipads cost £600+.

inflation is the word basically.

less then £500 and people wont bad an eye lid
 
The internet is going a bit crazy with the streaming. A husband and wife are streaming this show in the playroom with about five thousand viewers.

Yoshida tweeted its great, he's been watching some half naked french guy.
 
There's some kind of a mistake (looks like one) going on at the jungle store. If you buy fifa 14 you get 2 x £22 gift vouchers that can be redeemed for bf4, making it only £3.

A lot of people have done it so it remains to be seen if they honour it at the jungle. Could be a mistake or a forthcoming promo that's activated early.

I think a lot of it is to do with apathy, people wanted a PS3... whereas I think now most people couldn't care less about Xbox One for various reasons.

Its on hotukdeals plus if you go to the jungle store page for the solus ps4 and then scroll down to the threads at the bottom theres a thread called '3 for 2 games' all about it. (don't know if its ok to link?)

Like I say I dunno if its a mistake or what, read the thread and make up your mind, seems ok.
