Well, quickly getting used to my new 3DS XL! Despite my doom and gloom earlier, I did actually get it for today.
All's well and good so far, except... where the sod do I put in my Link Between Worlds download code? Do I type it in on Club Nintendo, or is there a redeem code facility hidden somewhere in the eShop?

Should be in the Eshop settings somewhere, redeem download code.

Aha, settings! That's why I couldn't find it. Was expecting it to be on the main eShop page or something.

Went to get mine, didn't have it in stock going back in about an hours time to see if they've been delivered yet.
Also, didn't see the guide books for £80, wasn't paying over £100 for it, hmmmm think I might have to buy it now.

"For the registration of a downloadable version of an eligible game, the respective Nintendo eShop account of the Nintendo 3DS system must have been linked with a Club Nintendo account prior to the download of the game from Nintendo eShop."

Arse. Oh well.
You have to register the game and the console to get the download, I take it you can't play on the console until it's registered? Seems a bit of a kick in the balls by Nintendo, doing it five days after the release of one of the most anticipated 3DS games being released, when they could have done it from the 22nd.

EDIT: to be honest, having a black interior would have been nice, but I'm not too bothered.
EDIT2: And even better, to take the sting away from having to pay for a charger, Amazon refunded me £10 as the price had dropped between release and dispatch! Score!
