Vid I put together quickly of a few games against my mate. Nothing went for him at all tonight, his pen miss and OG are so funny, he was fuming! I'm pretty sure I got the ball on that so called penalty too! :D:p

Nice video Spikey.

That penalty was hilarious. Not only with the shooter slipping over but the incredibly delayed dive by the goal keeper.

I am liking the next gen version a lot. A great feature is the throw ins near the end of a match. If you're winning, your player just casually jogs to touchline to pick up the ball :p Must really annoy the opposition.

Also, make sure you redeem your Fifa launch pack code. The QR code just downloads the game and doesn't give you the launch pack, so you have type in the code. The only annoying thing about the pack is you can't sell any of the players you get but you do have a greater chance of getting a legend. All I got was Van Der Vaart :(
 
I love it how, when you play a better team or a higher AI level, it doesn't make it feel as though you are playing against superior players, it just lowers the level of your own players to gibbering lumps of clay that can't complete the most rudimentary of football skills.

That's out-of-the-box thinking people! :D
 
Im new to fifa and got it for the xbox one. erm I got a free pack for it being day 1 i got riquelme but soon as I clicked him to put on my active team i clicked back and lost the rest of the pack. is that gone for good? :(

Check your club. Or there should be an unassigned tab. They'll be somewhere.

Had some infuriating games last night!!!

I won my first 4 div1 games the night before, so I was needing 4 more wins from 6 for the title (rarely get draws!). I got so screwed over by the new wonderful glitches ea have messed up on, it was just insane. In my first 3 games I conceded 3 corner headers, insanely ridiculous additional headed goals including eto winning 2 headers vs kompany both landing in the goal....and a David Luis own goal because ea wouldn't let me switch player. Thank you ea!!! Division held.... :mad:

I must say the scripting seems waaaaaay down this year...you don't seem to come across stat boosted silver strikers who feel like 120 pace this time...but the ridiculous headers situation is a complete joke! They said they fixed it in a patch but I'm really not convinced! The amount of absolute ######## hobbits that out jump chielini to header it straight into the top corner from 12 yards out leaves me so so annoyed!

If they sorted out headers...player switching...and defenders movement from through balls, then it might actually be better than FIFA 13 :mad: there are so many other areas that have been improved but these things are crippling it for me...how can so many "hobbit" strikers who have never scored a header irl in their life win headers against everyone 24/7? It's a joke! Frodo could outjump thiago silver on corners! It's just daft!

Rant over! For now :p
 
haha im in the final on my first cup. 1 thing i think my penalty is bugged it doesnt have the circle where to aim when I get a pen on game? on the pratice i had it then it disappeared :S
 
Been using the team below recently. Seems to work quite well, just using it more as a fitness team. But obviously I'd like to have a decent team !

Depends what you want from your CM's. Paulinho is really good.
 
i forgot i have been invited to a dinner tomorrow, so probably going to leave it tomorrow plus super sunday is on during the day, monday should be fine though for a proper rematch.

i won 5-3 but the crucial thing here is that even though you had more shots, it's where those shots are taken from which matter imo.



all my shots are taken within the "danger" zone.

yours are from anywhere really, thats why i have less shots than you and i score them basically. none of my goals were "pretty" apart from the along the ground through ball to jovetic but neither was the trickler you scored for your third, so it works both ways.

the lagg ruined the game though as it was sporadic, it was fine for the first few minutes then just got worse so thats why i thought it best not to play all three as it wasn't going to get any better.

as you can see from the picture shots never tell the real story, one of yours was taken from the halfway line
 
Sonny, that game I wasnt even bothering to even attempt to play. Had one eye on the tv. It was laggy as hell with 1 bar and I don't care what the score was. I had one dodgy own goal that I tried to clear but Dante decided to head it into my goal.

Why bother discussing that game as it was a joke and has no merit what so ever. Shame on you for pointing out that you won.

Try again tomorrow or monday.

After playing next gen a bit more , they have defin nerfed heading and even corners. Ball control is worse as well.

Does seem to be more time on the ball and more space on the pitch.

1 thing that did disappoint is the highlights still only show 10 seconds of the play before. Thought that was due to hardware limitations on 360 but clearly not.
