Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

Yeh, some people seem to be able to take a colossal amount of hits.

I also think the damage shouldn't decrease so much with range. A hit is a hit in my opinion but trying to kill someone with a LMG at range is incredibly hard. You need to hit them about 10 times. I feel like I'm shooting people with a bb gun at range.

Next time you get annoyed by too many snipers camping put this on Camper and make it your mission to hunt them down. :D
 
I had one of my funniest moments earlier - snook behind 5 sniper campers up some small hill

went behind, and took each out with my shotgun + slug

5 in 4 seconds :) lol

Haha sweet so helicopters have a bit of a nerf then? And yea I'll need to find some new servers so that would be cool.

I didn't like bf4 beta tanks like bf3. The shells seemed to have a much more pronounced drop over a shorter distance and less splash damage on inf. Then die to rpgs without ke hearing a warning that the tank was nearly toast.

Im using 5960x1080 and dont get that much stretching.

Its how surround works though unfortunately, if we had it without stretch I think it would be a huge advantage seeing so much.

Pumping bullets (I'm talking 20) into an enemy engaging (with his back to me) with one of my team mates from 3 foot away and nothing happens. Turns round and one shots me. Any other time it would have been a saviour kill.

Add to that, snipers snipers snipers ******* everywhere. I just can't be bothered.

Attack choppers are near to useless unless you have full on air support. Tanks take a lot higher skill level to do well with, if you think AP shells drop, just wait for HE shells, Savoy shells fly straight and true tho.

Infantry lock on weapons are everywhere and are ruining it a bit. The skill level to play this game has been massively reduced in many regards.

Fozzy I have just been checking your accuracy on BF4. I'd lower your sensitivity if I were you,l. You should be ble to get about 5% better accuracy.

TBH, it is kind of nice that aircraft have been nerfed big time with regards to ammo supply plus spotting, in bf 3 it was a joke, could be at the very top of the flight ceiling and hit q and pretty much the entire enemy team lights up, easy targets for the gunner (even more so with the tv missile since it stops the shaking etc. of the main gun) and especially since the majority of maps in bf 3 had very little, if any cover from aircraft :(

In bf 4, attack helis are too weak though, probably the weakest vehicles in the game now tbh.


I don't see why so many people make a big issue about the shell drop either :p After a few shots you remember what it is like, I have used it since I unlocked it and have shot many helis down since then! :D Like everything, the more you practice (even when missing targets etc. you are still learning and adapting), the better you get with it.

Pointless using your tank shells against infantry too (unless behind a wall), just wasting what little ammo you have when the HMG and LMG can do the job far better and a lot more quickly without wasting ammo. It is annoying though how you more or less have to hit a soldier dead on with a tank shell to kill him........

I've had some great rounds in the Attack Choppers. I've changed to Zuni Rockets as although you only get 8 per load they do a lot more damage. That and a gunner on TS and you can do very well.

LOL, my accuracy (or lack of) was nothing to do with not being able to kill someone from 3 feet away earlier.

I've got a 10.02% overall accuracy because I'm an average player. You're only 12.76% overall so I think my percentage is as good as I'm going to get.
 
Cool so thats:

BF4 downloaded and installed
windows 8.1 download and installed
latest nvidua download and installed
powershell re install
new beta msi afterburner install
disk clean up to remove windows.old
browser plug in install - after repeated fail had to disable win defemder
steam move bf3 off ssd to hdd
steam move bf4 from hdd to ssd

that's why I love pc gaming!

I still can't get over how bad BL for bf 4 is :o ****ing terrible!

Wanted to remove someone from my friends list and had to go through bf 3 BL to do it :rolleyes:

Was trying to make a helpful suggestion. Another suggestion would be know what you are talking about. BF4 doesn't separate inf and vehicle, but you'd know that of course. I run at about 19-25% infantry :P
 
The accuracy stat in BF4 isn't a very reliable way to see how skillful or not a player is anyhow or even how good or not their aim is :|
