All stats are pretty pointless in this game, only important ones in my eyes are:

SPM (although even this is rather pointless now given all the xp boosts you get.............)

flags captured and defended, pretty damn proud of all the flags I have captured/defended!

And all the other team based stuff like revives, supplies etc.


The most pointless stats are k/d and skill.
 
It's not pointless if you're feeding the other teams kills, increasing perks, and wasting tickets, but of course you need to work for the objectives too and not just kill-whore.

I appreciate the help but I don't appreciate it being made because you seem to think I'm blaming the games poor hit reg. I presume you checked my stats after my rant about the hit reg earlier?

You've got an 18.78% accuracy with the gun that has given you most kills. I've got a 15.45% accuracy with the one that has given me most kills. That's because you are the better player. I won't be getting anywhere near 20% accuracy any time soon.

As Rroff says, stats generally mean next to nothing. I honestly don't care about them. All I care about is having a bit of fun and enjoyment on a stable, bug free game. When that doesn't happen, I tend to moan.
 
got moaned at for being a "noob" and crashing the attack heli, not a lot i can ******* do if the sodding game acts up, ******* moron.
 
hah something isn't quite right with the helis since last patch - 50% of the time they get seriously destabalised for me the first time they take any damage even when not getting the critical, etc. messages. Got bitched at a few times but theres nothing I can do.

How does my ratio of 135/113 match up? I've played 23 hours. You must have played 10 times that by now surely. ;)

I'm going to stay off the game until the next patch is released now. I still think the issue with hit reg especially near buildings and collapsed chimney tunnels (on Zavod) will never be fixed though. I've had most of my hit reg issues when there is some sort of object or building nearby the enemy I'm trying to shoot.

I've played twice as many hours as you and got 317/273 for whatever its worth heh.

Well yeah true that but it is also very easy to get a high k/d by:

- vehicle whoring
- camping

As well as not playing the objective.

Also, the way they work out the k/d stat isn't that great either as they don't take into account revives.

I have had plenty of matches where my team or the other team have had better k/d ratio's overall but have still lost because the winning team:

- has held onto more flags
- has revived more

Of course it all depends on the game mode you play too.....

A lot of very cool emblems. Even transformer logos which would look pretty damn awesome on vehicles :cool:
 
To be honest they should remove total kills/deaths. For instance on conquest a much more meaningful stat would be flags caped and a statistic correlated to flag defending. In BF4 the points system is indeed much better but I think for certain game modes kills/deaths is not really relevant.

Yeah exactly that :( thought it was just me being crap for a bit.

Not enjoying the game at all tonight almost half the players don't seem to register shots at all - wish more servers had hit markers on in hardcore so I could see how much of its actually me being crap (it mostly isn't) and what part is bullets just more or less dissapearing.

Completely agree!

Especially for obliteration, no tickets at all, just 3 mcoms per team and a timer.

Unfortunately it will never happen though as stats matter to the majority of gamers :(

When you share anything it puts it on your battlelog for your friends to see and possible others if you don't have it set to private. Not much point in sharing battlepacks, most people only share the odd game when they do well.
