Audi TT alternatives

Oh yea, definitely agree on the looks! The first one I looked at was a standard HF and while I guess its 'stealth' may appeal to many, it just looked like a basic 80s hatch to me.

Fortunately mine's an Integrale, so got the arches and the bumpers etc... Looks the part! :)

I'm not sure about panel prices but I can imagine they'd be expensive. I've seem some parts (bumpers, spoilers, rear roof pieces) around for reasonable prices though - but I well expect there to be some unobtainium bits out there that cost the earth. No doubt I'll find out they're the bits I need on a routine basis, like a certain trim clip or headlight assembly :p

Seems quite expensive and looks a little questionable. I went to Brookland's historic auction a few months ago and bid on a 50k Starion (2.0) in absolutely immaculate condition. It went for £5400 in the end (my commission bid was £5200).

I'd only pay £5400 if it came with jaws as the co-driver and it could go under water. ;)

Very nice! Hope you keep it in a garage because often a vented hood plus rain = ignition issues:/

Not to begin with, but it will be covered. I intend to use it quite regularly.

Duly noted RE the hood vents. I'm going to get a set of shields that are readily available that deflect water down into non-critical areas while still allowing the vents to do their job :)

looks decent,

lovely cars, my old neighbor had a couple of 8vs neither of which moved for 3/4 years. waste of good cars

Looks great :) As above, would be improved with a spoiler, but I'm unsure how likely you'd be to find one now though.

Interior is ghastly lol, but they all appear to be - even the £30k minters! The only one I've seen which is respectable is the black alcantara, most deltas seem to have beige interiors which look even worse - at least yours is semi tasteful!
