Evening folks,
After having a terrible experience with my new GTX780 crashing and stuttering, I returned it. I thought it was the only part of my order that was bad...
I knew my Hazro had 1 bright pixel. I didn't give a crap to be honest, the difference between 1680x1050 and 1440p was so profound the bright pixel didnt bother me.
While I was faffing around with my wallpaper for my screen I noticed some dark spots. They were quite large so I assumed they were dirt. I grabbed my microfibre cloth and gently wiped. They didnt dissapear. I downloaded "Undead Pixel" to find out if they were in fact dead pixels and to my horror, they were - A cluster of them. I then noticed more, and more, and more on the white setting...there are now about 4 visible clusters of dead pixels, 1 bright pixel and one or two singular dead pixels.
Not only that but the Bezel feels like it is glued on by *****stick...It comes away with a small tug.
The hilarious thing is, I don't even think I can get this replaced now - its been less than 28 Days but over 14 days since my purchase, and the Hazro dead pixel policy is terrible. £379 on a monitor with this many dead pixels is disgusting. I'd have had better chance with a Catleap.
Any ideas of what I can do to resolve this? OCUK don't even sell this monitor anymore, it must have been that bad - I want to take my chances slinging another £100 on a more reputable brand like ASUS, but I don't even know if OCUK will give me that chance.
