Does anyone own any sportful bib tights? Seem to get very good reviews and not too crazy price wise, thought I'd invest in some to help ensure the weather suddenly gets warmer

So...have any new decent steel frames come out in the last month or so? I'm still deciding on my new bike and the cotic x frame seems to have been discontinued :(

What do you want from it?

There is a new frame coming from Cotic in the spring to replace the X and the short top tubed roadrat.

Something that feels quite road-y. I'm a bit concerned that something like the straggler will feel quite sluggish due to it being a bit closer to a tourer (I think - I could be wrong?).

edit: I don't think I can wait until the spring either. I'm far too impatient :p

Suppose I should have said 'do Sportful use Castelli's Progetto X2 pad"?

no they don't.

Castelli don't share their fabrics as such with other companies, esp their "pro" gear stuff.

I have castelli body paint 2 bibs and they easily the best ive ever had, the pad is insanely good.
Ive used gore stuff but after trying castelli stuff ive never gone back.

sportfull gear is ok, but its very unreliable to buy, as wiggle never have stock which is acc ( 4 failed buys of "in stock" makes me think they not in stock lol)

They don't share everything, but there isn't a world of difference between Sportful NoRain and Castelli Nanoflex.

Sportful's parent company owns Castelli.

Hi all, I need some more advice if possible please.

My work have finally sorted out the cycle to work scheme. We are going to be using this place here: http://www.cyclesolutions.co.uk/

Obviously I have up to £1000 to spend on the bike (don't need lights etc - have all that). I want a road bike. I am getting on really well with my current one (even though it isn't great), and am currently doing about 120 miles per week on it (this will go up in the summer months). I would like something quick and that is going to last me a couple of years.

The thing is other than Raleigh, Felt and Specialized I haven't really heard of any of the other bikes that this place sell (and both the Felt's are out of stock). I had my heart set on a Moser from Wiggle as I thought work were going to be using them, but alas not.

I have seen this: http://www.cyclesolutions.co.uk/p55258/merida-race-lite-904-2013-road-bike , but again - not sure what they are like, any opinions?

If anyone is willing to have a look through that site and give me some suggestions I would be very grateful, it just confuses me the more I look at it. As I said £1000 budget (I did ask if I could put some towards it if I wanted - they said no!).

Many Thanks.
