I would have thought it'd be day one over here, as the game is region free, there's nothng in the patch that would affect EU languages so should think it'd be a day one patch.
Hope so, can't wait to play this!

nothing that would affect the game quality, all versions scored the same in reviews.

It could definitely affect the purchasing choice where one is more details and costs £80 less.
You know why it scored the same, because on two occasions the resolution was crippled during the time of the reviews and then patched after release.
Something doesn't sit right with this.

UPS guy just showed up with this!
Very nice, just pre ordered the Buccaneer edition today it's virtually similar to the black chest edition it's exclussive to gamestop so i couldn't order the black chest.

My PS4 Buccaneer Edition will be delivered tomorrow according to the email and text I got from DPD, was hoping it would arrive last Friday on release day but no big deal, not like I can play it before next Friday anyway.

Yeah I was gonna go for the buccaneer one to begin with, but then I saw the statue with him on the ship and then I really wanted that one!

For any one that pre-ordered the special metal tin edition with tesco, i have called them this morning for the second time, first time was last friday and the girl said it had left them that day, this morning they informed me that they do not have any stock and they are contacting all the people who pre-ordered the game to let them know they are cancelling the orders :/ which i think is a lie they just messed up the price of the game and dont want to take a hit on the loss IMO

I'm in the same boat as u, from what people told me no it makes very little difference and it's an easy game to get into.

I'm up to sequence 4 at the moment.
So far I'm enjoying it (after playing all the previous Assassins creeds barring liberation).
I'm a little disappointed they haven't really mentioned much of the cliffhanger from the end of the last game. Hopefully they will reveal more throughout the game. Yes, I'm one of the few who really enjoyed the Desmond storyline (although not his gameplay so much).

Tesco have issued me with a £10 refund off my order for black flag skull edition, they cant supply it apparently so they are sending the standard version, though they cant say when.. So i have got the standard version for £30 instead of £48. Just hope it comes for Friday! but have my doubts

That Black Skull Edition in game stop here in ireland is 89 euro lol, i upgraded to the Buccaneer when i seen that for an extra 10 euro. That was quite cheap u were getting that for or else Game stop are just greedy *****!

Anyone been able to download the latest patch for the game on PS4?
A friend it trying but PSN is down so the game is still version 1.01. He wants to update it to get the 1080p working. Does the 'update available' option pop up when booting PS4 games the same as the PS3 or does he have to update the game by a different method?
