Got killzone coming with my order and was thinking whether to get BF4 or AC4 - not sure yet.

Do we get a £10 voucher off like the US did from the play store?
Thinking I might just buy a digital copy to tide me over until some newer releases next year....

I have got the Amazon mega bundle on order, but not expecting it for release day.
In time for xmas would be nice.
Missus has a works Xmas party on the 6th Dec and one of the raffle prizes is a PS3 bundle with Knack, lol. I always help her choose the main prizes, but she wanted Knack in case any kiddies get given it by the parents.

I read somewhere on these forums of some who were getting their consoles from a store called Alpine electronics (or something like that) don't know if it was ps4 or xbox1.

I got mine from Amazon and would be gutted if I got robbed of my money.

still not had an email from shopto that my order is ready for despatch though i didn't order until early october.

reading the xbox thread has put me at ease re: dpd and them texting a delivery window. i've already given my mum the heads up to nip over mine and sign for it when i give the nod. bless her.
 
Well I have had a hands on of the machine and its nice and compact certainly... seems to reach max temp about 30minutes in and even after a few hours of gameplay it didn't get overly hot and the exhaust air temp was definitely cooler than my ps3 is!

The vita play through works really well and is quite fun, and from what I saw of the games such as Assassins and killzone I would put it on par with an I5 7950 combo for smoothness and framerate.

I was not so impressed with the camera or controller.... while the controller feels a bit heavier and more sturdy than the Ds3 I still think the D pad is just in the wrong place, its hard to explain but I get cramps after an hour in my thumb!

Overall a nice machine, stays cool and is pretty much silent and the vita crossover is working brilliantly. Games are pretty meh...... but I guess time will tell.

I hadn't had mine up until about 15 minutes ago when my shipping notice came through. Order shows completed on ShopTo, so very happy.

Try checking your spam folder as stated earlier in this thread, as that's where my email was.

Edit: Have Friday - Tuesday booked off, so will have to add some of you guys for some KZ / BF4! Switched from XB360, so will have a brand new PS+ account to set up on Friday

you will get it , I ordered in October and had my despatch email on Sunday , they are not doing the packing in pre-order date, why would they need to?

I'm the same and also made a switch, make an account online getting a PSN ID was tough and I imagine tougher come Friday. You can also add people who aren't new to PSN on the App.

Eventually... But I wouldn't expect that for another 6 months or so, maybe longer.

Shopping around you can pick up titles for around £45-£48 now... just don't bother looking at digital titles unless you want to remortgage your house!

Same with the console really. I see no reason for Sony to drop the price of the PS4 any time soon if the US launch was anything to go by.

Nice, thanks - been keeping an eye out for this but hadn't seen it. Downloaded and installed......needs a bit of optimising/tidying IMHO, but good to have.....tantalising Connect to PS4 button, too!

Is the latest firmware in the wild yet? Thought it would be good to chuck on USB or similar in advance, as the servers are going to take a battering on Friday, I would imagine :p
 
Anyone order from GameSeek here? Mine is due Friday, no word yet, but not expecting so, just wondering if anyone else has.
