Hey guys,

Looking for a new game usually im playing Rpgs maybe a wee bit of fps. But mainly Es and Fo games.Anyway looking for a new game kinda bored of pay-day 2 already and no other games in my inventory interest me!

So i had a wee look about before an had a look at these two gams 'Tropico 4 and democracy 3' and was wondering you opinion on them ? I quite like the idea of controlling a socialist state or at the other end of the scale a dictatorship! So which should i choose hoping democracy will come up in this sale and tropico is already on sale!

Thank you for looking :) Any opinions or alternative suggestions also taken :D

Have not played tropico but I did play democracy 3 and I don't think they're in the same league. tropico seems like a high budget "proper" game whereas democracy 3 is a bit of like a visually pretty statistics balancer simulator. If anything I am a bit angry at how much democacy 3 costs given what it is.

I found Tropico 4 a lot of fun, great music, good atmosphere and very addictive. It isn't as complex as some other games of it's genre though.

Democracy 3 is enjoyable enough but it's overpriced and very biased towards certain political ideologies.

Tropico 4 is a lot of fun. Its the only game where I actually bother to get the DLC.

I wouldn't say there's a lot of replay value in it with sandbox mode but the missions are good and there is a lot of value in it. Get it in the sale and it'll keep you busy for weeks.

Not played Democracy 3 yet, but I have Democracy 2. The same policies worked in every scenario no matter their political views. If its cheap enough I'll get it, otherwise I'm probably not missing much.

Tropico 4 is a great game I loved Tropico 3 as well.

The missions are great fun and very addictive.

Take a look at Anno 2070 IMO it is a masterpiece, and very in depth.

Totally agree with this and would recommend it, I particularly like the music for Tropico it makes we want to put on a Hawaiian shirt and some sunglasses.
