Magic Actions For Youtube
This program is a superb extension for Chrome browser. It lets you force HD, player size or even what Web mode you want Flash or HTML5

But its just been updated with something even cooler Speed Booster

Thought I would give this a test. Has you can see the Speed boost is unreal the video is buffered way ahead when enabled.

There are several greasemonkey userscripts which do the same thing that work on both firefox and chrome

Been using this for a while, Its also nice because you can set the auto HD and set the vid to start large in the centre of the screen. I've turned off all the cinema features like the light switch in the top left or the scroll to control Vol. It does make a nice difference, especially with all the youtube loading crap i get with Virgin.

What a difference this makes.

I'm on Virgin Media and nothing was buffering tonight until I saw this, worked straight away, 1080p videos buffering really quickly like a 60mb should handle it.

Since installing I can't get a single video to play. Removed it and everything is fine.
Shame as it sounded like a great add on

Yeah - the current latest version. Only tried it on this laptop, I'll try on my other 2 and see if it's just this one.

, youtube sucks atm and hate the fact have to waiting ages when you move to part of the video and it just has the buffer icon
