Well atleast you've got your warranty. Just swap it out till you get a working one :p:D You get it from somewhere with plenty of stock? If not I'd push for a refund and get it elsewhere. I think Asda are boasting about having stock still

OK well youve got quite a weight of information to back you up - hopefully youll have luck in the morning, I doubt the retailer is going to be that happy to help you and direct you back to Sony - just remember your contract is with them so its their legal obligation to assist you, but its up to them how that assistance is provided (replacement, refund or very unlikely due to length of ownership repair).

Yea whilst installing its slightly loud but unless it's on your lap or your in a silent room you cant hear it.

Just tried BF4 on the vita. Very impressive but abit hard as it's so small and tiny thumb sticks. Resogun plays like a charm on the vita.

Gotten a lot quiter now think it was just getting hammered by multie downloads/installs and gaming at the same time. Playing killzone now and you have to pause and listen to hear it
 
All good here, had a little scare with the update as I got the blue light flash. But restarting the system (then it restarting itself several times..) sorted it. Resogun is ace, and love the ds4 :)
 
Well that was all pretty painless. A queue of about 30 people at Grainger games. Set up the machine and camera, update took a matter of seconds. Downloaded Resogun and Contrast. Now playing Killzone!
All very seamless and fluid. Loving it!

Sorry to hear of some people having problems:(
 
Me and 2 mates went to pick ours, mine and 1 of theres is fine but my other mate just text saying he thinks his is buggered, apparently can hear the disc over the tv sound? Im not sure what he has to do, i guess just take it back first thing and they send it off? Or swap if they have stock but i dont think they do
