*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I got a knock at the door at 7:15 and it was Royal Mail with my Blue Wave DS4 not going to lie thats great but i shot out of bed thinking it was the console, DPD says its still in the warehouse down the road hopefully im near the front.

well after a few hours play i can say its an awesome machine, i definitely prefer it to my XB1. My only gripe would be i wish it had the download speed from the XB1 servers, they have improved PSN downloads from PS3, but its not fantastic, and nowhere near maxes out my 120mbit connection.

hope everyone is enjoying it :)

Are most places well stocked with games? I have my Killzone/2/controller/camera bundle arriving today, but want to pick up a couple more games - stock levels seem OK, from those who were hanging about stores at midnight?

It has actually been better than the XB1 installing games for me, its a lot faster when installing games from disc I mean a lot faster, Ryse on my XB1 took about 45 mins to install where as no game on the PS4 has took more than a few minutes.

Finally done a stock check at argos. Every store says out of stock for resercing. I guess my chances for bagging one are nil?

It won't do yet, it's generated by the driver load scans, they probably are only just now starting to load the vans.
Trunk will get it in at 0530 to 0600, it will take 45 minutes to an hour to get the freight tipped and security scanned at the depot, then 30 to 45 mins for the driver to sort and scan his load.
He will then dock his tracker and go and load up his van while it messes around generating delivery times.

Loving the detail :) thanks, assume myself better educated on the matter.

Well there goes my next few hours:

Kris is currently making delivery number 1, you are delivery number 83.
Kris is approximately 5 hours 30 minutes away from you.
You can watch Kris's progress on our map.

Just managed to get one from Sainsbury's after visiting five supermarkets this morning. I did reserve one at Argos (Killzone) on my mobile phone earlier, but I won't be needing it now. If anyone wants the reservation code for Argos - Cheltenham, Kingsditch Retail Park drop me an email (it's in my trust) as it's supposedly reserved until the end of Saturday 30th November. :)

ok Little update. I can hardly hear my PS4 after 30+mins of shadowfall this morning.

Last night I was hammering it downloading/patching and installing and playing games.

It got very loud almost at the level of a quiet PS3 fat almost at max spin. Which is not that loud but loud enough to **** me off for this being nextgen. Also dint help the room was totally silent

Couple games of killzone and the fan soon spun down.

also mine if from Foxconn factory.

At least you guys can track your deliveries. I've been waiting since wednesday with just a generic email from gameseek saying 'your delivery is on its way with Royal Mail, make a cup of tea and put your feet up' - only 3 days of wait with no tracking number - nowt.

last time I order from them tbh.

Just so people know, there is only one batch of the Chinese made consoles which is faulty, so it's not the end of the world if it's made in China.
