*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Love the DS4 on killzone, the light bar changes colour when you die to red, green when you have not been spotted, Also the Audio logs play through its speaker.

I did have to turn the DS4 speaker down as it's a little loud.

Paired my phone to the PSN app and turned of eco mode, so its now in low power and charging the DS4 ready for tomorrow.

Switching from game to menu is so quick, and back again, no waiting for it to load up, then run slowly on the xmb.

The bluray drive is a little whiny when it spins up, and the fan is louder than the PS3, but not to bad it would get annoying.

Cant wait to get BF4 tomorrow and play some online, going to be awesome.

Yeah its that one sorry (Error Code E-8200002E: Credit Card information is invalid). All details are correct but it wont except it so I just redeemed the twelve month code to get PS+ I bought sod the free week trial.

Set up everything nice and slowly and installed updates one at a time patiently and everything is running perfectly touch wood. Can't get my girlfriend off Resogun I think I have created a monster. :D
 
Got my PS4 preordered in June. Tesco wouldn't allow me to have one of the bundles but allow the barstools that just turn up on the night have them. Crap Tesco are. Didn't even get fee food and drink ilke the stores in the US do on launch days. One coffee would have done me. :D PS4 is great though I still have the 3 free games you get with it. Resogun, Contrast and Flower. My birthday today so hopefully a game may appear if not I'll save my pennies. :D
 
Bluray movie play back appears better on PS4 I can't put my hands on what makes it look better. Luckly I have a large Bluray collection with me owning a PS3 last ten. Watched the rest of Lion King 2 because I'm a big kid. looks fab.
 
Well I went into Tesco at 11pm, huge queue of 80 odd people in front of me. They had a total of 45 ps4s...

Just as I was accepting the fact that I was going home empty handed, at 11:50 a member of staff came down the queue and asked who had preordered. ONE person had preordered before me in the queue, then the rest were all behind me. We got to walk right past all the other people, straight to the front! Best feeling ever, now number 2 in line and feeling super smug :D picked up a killzone bundle and walked triumphantly past all the poor sods who were still queuing.
 
Did it annoy anyone else that the bundles were given priory to those that just turned up on the night at Tesco. You think they'd have prioritized the option to buy a bundles to those that preordered the console. Tesco really fizzed me off
 
My PS4 from OcUK is still in the DPD sorting centre in Birmingham according to the tracker, still have a delivery estimate of today though.

It won't do yet, it's generated by the driver load scans, they probably are only just now starting to load the vans.
Trunk will get it in at 0530 to 0600, it will take 45 minutes to an hour to get the freight tipped and security scanned at the depot, then 30 to 45 mins for the driver to sort and scan his load.
He will then dock his tracker and go and load up his van while it messes around generating delivery times.
