Did anybody else manage to get one form John Lewis last night? Slightly worried that mine is still on processing and not dispatched yet, it's supposed to get here tomorrow!

mines says "order processing", got an email from them at about 7 this morning confirming the order (is for store collection) after 2pm tomorrow.

can you tell from the cardboard box which country it was made in or is it on the bottom of the device itself?

Why would anyone buy an XB1 , brand loyalty is the only reason.

Personal preference. Don't see what right you have to question it TBH... Yeah the PS4 probably beats XO in quite a few aspects.. and vice versa.

These so called 'Console wars' got boring yonks ago. I say just go with what you prefer and enjoy, Simple.

Well i booked the day off work tomorrow so i can be sure i am in to receive my console, contemplating a new tv to go with it as i have been wanting an upgrade from my old 720p 42" samsung.

Mine arrived about 30mins ago, got a China one but it seems to be okay so far.
Would be nice if I could get into PSN to get started properly, ah well.
Seems odd that the update downloaded really easily, but PSN is a total blank.

Looks like i got a broken one...
Turned on, updated, tried to log into psn.
Gave up trying to log into psn.
Started up a bluray, screen froze and made a horrible sound over the speakers.
Now i get the blue pulse only
