slowly pulsing blue light on the console and nothing on the televisionany idea's?
Nothing happens if I try and turn it off (console) either?

Only problem with everything needing updates, when PSN is down your screwed,
Looks like i got a broken one...
Turned on, updated, tried to log into psn.
Gave up trying to log into psn.
Started up a bluray, screen froze and made a horrible sound over the speakers.
Now i get the blue pulse only
That will be mine when it finally arrives, will be fun trying to organize a return with the awful GAME.

not got another tv to try it on ? sounds like HDMI handshake issue!

Kinda worrying that there's a few people in here already that have the blue pulsing light of death.
I've experienced no issues with mine so far but will be keeping the box for the foreseeable just in case.
Had mines on solid 5 hours, still very cool to touch. no heat issues and im glad its all working.

Not just me that can't get into psn then? Tried changing the password and everything. I want to download resogun! Pretty shocking from sony

Everything setup OK including the HDD. Can't connect to server though, get error code NW-31201-7
I am loving the red and blue ones! I'm selling one of the black ones though as I only really need 3.
TBH that's more the dads tipple. I have some bitters awaiting me too

This is exactly what happened with mine earlier today so I've taken mine back into an Asda store for them to send it back to Asda Direct for a refund!
Before you do though, I'd still try the following:
1) A different power lead (my PS3 one fitted)
2) A different HDMI lead and/or HDMI port in your TV
3) if you slide off the shiny portion of the unit, you can check if the hard drive is seated correctly (just takes unscrewing the one big screw and it slides out!)
If none of the above work then I'm afraid it seems it's either contacting Sony or sending it back to the retailer!
Be mindful though, if you send it back to the retailer, there is little chance you will get a replacement as there is no surplus stock anywhere and you will have to re-buy!
On the other hand, getting Sony to replace/fix it will be quite a task too!

OCUK, brilliant as always, sent our son's PS4 out for delivery. We had to go out early this morning and I never checked our emails beforehand.
DPD turned up whilst we were out
Had re-arrange delivery for Monday, we were only out for 30minutes. Typical if we had been in all day the delivery would have happend later this evening or something lol.
I have one coming tomorrow from OCUK, could you tell me where the one you received was manufactured. Thx
Mine, touch wood seems ok, but if it does fail I think I will just send it back to gameseek for a refund and get a XB1. I'm not fussed bout the exclusives on the PS4... tbh they are pretty naff. And I'd re-buy in the future.
