*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Erugh, you posted this before.

No, the light does not turn white, it pulses blue and the television(s) I have tried it on just say no signal.

Really, inexcusably poor if this is a dead console.

Can you hear activity from the console HDD? Does it loop a unusual sound or does it click away like a normal HDD?

Tried a different HDMI cable?

It could be something to do with the HDMI handshake maybe?

I'm assuming your's just beeps once when you "press" the on button and then irrespective of how long you hold your finger there, the "double beep" doesn't come and eventually the machine just powers down?

The console sounds like it's booting up, but then nothing, just a pulsing light and heat from the rear.

Off to work, really sad about this.

It doesn't even power down, just nothing happens at all.

Looks like you're going to have to take it back for a replacement/refund and hope new stock comes in shortly. I wouldn't bother going through Sony to have it repaired as you'd probably have a long wait on your hands.

Didn't Sony say yesterday they have allocated stock incase there are issues? Try Sony first, they won't want bad publicity so I'd imagine they would endeavor to keep you happy.

Hi Jonathan,

I have looked at your order for you and can see that it is being send out as we speak! I am very, very sorry for the delay.

Nile Fyfe.

Finally getting somewhere.
