Coming soon boys and girls...

2013+-+1

If you want any specific pictures or tests then tell me now before I install the cooler...

Looking forward to it mate. Owned a Hybrid myself and it was the best solution bar water cooling/LN2.

Wow you're using the beast? Tommy and Uncle Petey will be jizzing in their under pants any second now!

almighty15 got a question about that large vrm heatsink...do the sink's screw holes matches the PCB's?

I just finished installed the Gelid Icy Vision Rev 2 cooler, and the vrm heatsink that comes with it the screw holes don't match the holes of the PCB, so at the moment I only attached the sink with the thermal pad/thermal adhesive tape.

My VRM1 temps is not great...it can easily hit 100C if I use above 1.35v on the voltage. So I am thinking I might need to get those sink set as well.

No it doesn't, I modded my Extreme cooler and it holds it in place with some thermal tape.

The vrm is rated 120c+, but generally, you want to keep it way cooler than 100c for stability, up to +20c on the core is best imo.

How's the Gelid btw, any good?

Well, if putting aside the high vrm1 temp, the GPU temp is quite good for a £30 cooler I would say. Think I was using something like 1.412v with 1200MHz on the core, and it was only max out at around 75C I think. To be honest, I think once any half-decent 3rd party cooler installed, the GPU isn't really the concern and more...but keeping the vrm1 cooled is more important.
