Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [30th November - 4th December 2013]

Amalfitano from West Brom is a good player, like him, like how solid Mulumbu is too (and apparently he wants off)

Edit, Where the **** they get 4mins from? We have a good team with good players on the ball so I really struggle to understand why we always struggle so much to keep the ball. We just hoof it away and put ourselves under unnecessary pressure.

Stick him on ignore, my Doctor has told me how my blood pressure has dropped significantly, this all happened after I had ignored him :D

Glad you're back back you little chubby chops :x

You know Gimp, he is one poster I just cannot place on ignore as much as I try lol. But I have Stewy on ignore, can't be arsed to read his comments the little manbaby that he is..

Glad to hear it my masked subservient friend :p

That coupled with us 5th, the world is truly off its rocker :p

Shops was great today, really in some form same as Wiloliamson.

Said it time and time again last year. Players in form playing with the same team repeatedly can look like absolutely different players. Williamson wasn't brilliant the year before last, but he was used and wasn't awful.

80% of defending is knowing where your other defenders will be. I said earlier this season that while there was less and less chance, there might be that one game where it clicks for Mbiwa, particularly if he plays with the same people around him game after game, he didn't play today but has been miles better.

But Colo playing today, one change and he wasn't in form... but the team he slotted into WAS in form and as such he played much better.

EArlier this season and last season. Colo would come back from injury or wanting a move or whatever, but he'd slot into an out of form team where people were injured every other game. Colo looked often terrible when he came back into the team where as today he looked decent.

One of the fundamental reasons Newcastle did so well the other year, and are starting to do very well this year and why Arsenal are doing so well. Consistency of the team being played. Arsenal are begging for problems by not rotating players.

Mert/Kos haven't massively improved as players, they are simply playing as an established partnership which is generally more important than the individual players. The two best CB's in the world playing their first game together won't be a patch on two ok CB's who have played together all year.

THe biggest problem last year was everyone crucial to that team was injured last year, either repeated short term injuries or long term injuries.

Stewy is a legend.

The critic keep saying what if Giroud gets injured, what will Arsenal do then...well, cross that bridge when they come to it, may be they'll buy another international forward to replace him?

Who knows, may be they'll buy a German international forward who has scored 46 times for his country in 111 games, who is only 28 years old? ;)

I really couldn't care less who wins the league, but out of the top teams, I would like to see Arsenal win it this year I suppose, despite historically not being able to stand them!
