So director David Ayer (End of Watch, Training Day, The Fast & Furious) is directing a new WWII movie starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Isaacs, Jon Bernthal and Michael Pena. The film tells the tale of a US tank crew on a mission in Nazi Germany and comes out in November 2014.

FURY is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

He has made one mistake though, filming Nazi war scenes in an English village on Remembrance Sunday late at night. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/fury-director-david-ayer-apologises-2740888

I can't wait for this! :D

Please no derogatory references to our forces, Americans. It seems to happen in every film; we either don't appear, or appear awful.

David Ayer is a phenomenal director, I'm very excited for this!

End of Watch, Training Day and Harsh Times are superb

Have to agree with the above.

Would love to see a modern WWII film about all the years the Americans couldn't be bothered to get directly involved...

Looks decent,

Bet there is a reference of some variety to "those damn limeys" somewhere in there. After all they did win the war single handedly didnt they.

Oh wait...

Shia LaBeouf...

As long as he gets shot early on, I'll happily watch the film. He is dire in everything he stains his name with, Lawless included.

Yes the Americans won the war while the Germans shipped their troops East and ushered the uk/us invasion forward so that we could get there before the russians. Which we failed to do letting them fight for Berlin and us sweeping up the plaudits afterwards.
