Foods you cannot buy anymore/anywhere

Does anyone remember "Pyramint" from the late 1980s? Same idea as Cadbury's crème egg but obviously pyramid-shaped and with mint inside.

There was also Matchmakers, not seem them for 20-odd years, but I saw them the other day in Sainsbury's in their Christmas/seasonal aisle.

Then you have Cadbury's Whisper Gold. They were exclusive to 1996, disappeared, then came back a few years ago, again for a year only I think. Not sure if they're around now.

They can be bought all year round in supermarkets. :)

Icecream Chewits. Probably only sold in some corner shop far, far away.

Yes, these, our corner shop did them as well, lovely things.

It's not a foodstuff, however I used to adore a fizzy drink called Citrus Spring, however after much internet searching, I can find no record of it whatsoever :(

The lemon one was to die for as it was just sharp enough but also thirst quenching and for only around 25p per can, my dad used to empty the shelves when he went to Asda (only seemed to be available there).

Ignoring defunct sweets/chocolate I can think of very few things I want but can't get any more. I miss the sausage rolls from a bakery in my old home town that closed down, as they were incredible (really nice meat, not greasy, pastry that was kinda like puff pastry but with more body to it.... om nom nom... :()

The sweets I miss the most are Frosties, they were kinda like fruit pastilles but bigger with a much harder centre

Frosties can still be had! Occasionally find them in bags of what I call 'crap sweets'. They're amazing.

No. If I was a nazi i would have taken you outside and shot you for such a mistake. As it was I merely corrected it with a slightly (un)humorous statement and pointed out that the sweets in question are still widely available.

Perhaps at this time of festive cheer you should remove the stick from your anal orifice?

Lemon and scampi flavoured Nik Naks, hope they still do those somewhere, loved stinking out the room with those.

Pizza Rolla. Probably find them disgusting now but remember liking them at the time.

They did a limited edition in 2009/2010. I bought about 20 as the special was ending and rationed them, good times.

They're back for good now, but they don't taste the same now they're not rare! :(
