Nvidia 780 SLI on what PSU?

My Corsair AX1200i is silent only hear the fan on pc turn on then its silent.


Could you run a Log in Corsairlink whilst playing BF4 or something then post a few lines on here. :)

I have a 760i and mine only rarely breaks 450 let alone 500.

Went for the evga 1300w G2 unit myself, I got burnt using an 850w PSU whilst overvolting a pair of 470s, took out the PSU and Motherboard in one nasty swoop. I'd previously run a pair of 5850s so assumed it'd be ok. I'd rather have power to spare.

Corsair say it only happens in high ambient but theres been reports of it happening at normal room temperature. If your system causes the psu to run at moderate load (stressed but not enough to engage the fan) then it will shut down eventually due to overheating.

For a 100 pound budget I'd recommend the Seasonic G-750.
