Panasonic phone crackling line

I'm just wondering if anybody knows of a cure for panasonic phones and crackling land lines.
This time around the call started off ok, then quickly detoriated. The person I call says they can hear themselves.

Is there anything I can try to sort this? Googling doesn't seem to be helping much.


I also can't remember the model of the phone.

Maybe a line fault. Try another phone

Tried different phones, set of three. And no difference.

Try a corded telephone at the main socket, still crackling?
Move to test socket, still crackling?

If yes report fault, if not sort yer internal wiring out

It's virgin media, so I belive a seperate line

Finally did something about this after using the phone for the doctors.

Checked each socket with the panasonic main base, crackling in everyone. Plugged in a corded into the branded telewest socket and again crackling.
Am I correct in presuming no longer our issue?

Probably moisture on the wires. I had this for months and it took many a callout until one engineer recrimped the incoming phone line.

Pork crackling is far better.
