US: The Walking Dead Season 4 (contains spoilers)

TBH, I felt the governor part was rushed, he was a redeemed man more or less, the fact he didn't kill or torture Michonne when he had her says it all and out of the blue he goes back to his old self in a matter of seconds  They should have had the girl bring her daughter to him just before he killed Hershel, would have made more sense then.

Action wasn't great (far better than the terrible "action" scenes for the finale of season 2 though.......), but I don't watch this show for the action, would go and watch zombie films or play L4D for that! :p

Also, it was utterly stupid, they so badly wanted the prison and even said they wouldn't use the tank since they don't want to damage their new home yet the guy blows the entire thing up more or less + they bring most of the fences down.

As for Judith being killed, doubt it very much, no point putting a spoiler tag around it since it was in the episode!

Walking Dead writing isn't that sophisticated though :p
Again, the part where big man tells the girls they're going the wrong way, they could be getting Judith (But again, too sophisticated)

You have to try and put yourself in that situation... granted you dont want to wreck the place, BUT you are pretty much all new to combat (the Governers lot) and then are under a lot of fire from people they believe are 'army' like having destroyed Woodbury....

So whats the best way to win, gun for gun battle? Probably lose... so in the heat of the moment, id let the tank fire. It causes disruption and in the end, they did take the prison from Ricks lot, its just they didnt have enough manpower to then hold it.

Im sure the Governer said, if they cant have it no one can.... something along those lines.

Pretty poorly written episode I thought. It was highly contrived how the mother was distracted by the zombie crossing the river so that the mud zombie could suddenly appear at that exact moment and bite the girl.

The prison confrontation seemed like it happened just because the writers wanted them to leave the prison, not because it made any sense. I felt like it was a Walter White situation - seemingly impossible to get out of, but Rick should have been able to using some quick thinking. He explained how it would be pointless to attack and I think realistically the attackers should have agreed with his thinking. He just should have emphasized how the prison would be completely useless the second the tank took down the fence, so all they would be left with if they won was half their people dead and they would have killed innocent people, maybe including children.

The attackers would then have to return to their camp with nothing to show for their losses since the prison would be overrun with zombies.

I didn't like how that woman showed up and shot the Governor in the head. I thought he would be left to be eaten by the zombies. It then introduced a continuity error, where the zombies didn't react to her firing the gun and they kept walking to the prison, so what the hell happened to her? It didn't show the zombies attacking her, even on the wide shot when Rick and Carl were leaving.

And what happened to the baby? Just like with Laurie, the body was completely gone, even though the zombies never drag away bodies/people, they just eat them where they find them, as you could see in the background when Rick and Carl found the car seat. There was blood in the seat, so that must mean the zombies did get it. There were no zombies lying around it, so it couldn't have been spatter.

It was weird how Hershel didn't get his head chopped off in one go, it was chop, crawl, ,chop, chop, chop. I wonder why they decided to write it like that. Also, no one shot him in the head, so he would still become a zombie head.

It would have been epic if, as the Governor raised the sword to kill him, Rick did a quickdraw and shot the Governor in the head, reclaiming his badass credentials.

Also, that girl who shot the woman in the face is clearly the psycho who has been feeding the zombies rats and dissected that rabbit/rat whatever it was.

- I imagine the smell of fresh meat/blood was the main thing that they were going for instead, there were a ton of dead bodies all over the place, of course the noise would have been the main attraction but once in range, it probably didn't matter if gunshots were going of, unless more or less right beside them and by the looks of it, there were lots of zombies but they were spread out quite a bit so would have been easy enough to make a run for it

- as posted above, I am pretty sure the baby was taken by Tyreese (in the gif above, his gun is around his back and he is running carrying something, that or the girls went back for the baby)

- samurai swords require a lot of skill to use, you would think that anyone could slice and dice through anything easily but it isn't, article or video somewhere about this, in the wrong hands, they will get stuck 95% of the time and as for the part where he went to chop away, that was just to show he has gone back to his old self with regards to beheading people

Did not expect Hershel to be killed off so quickly and brutally,But i was surprised that The Governor did not kill Michonne as soon as he had the chance after she killed his daughter and took his eye.

I'm glad The Governor is dead now though, and that they have left the prision as it was all getting a bit stale and not enough action imo..will be interesting to see what January brings. :)

Don't read if you don't want to know what might happen in the futures episodes

Also don't read if you are not past leaving the prison in the comics

The girl, do you think Carl will shoot her? Like he shoots the evil twin? (that is if she is the twisted one who may have killed the 2 peoples and fed the zombies)

here a question, why is their still zombies and why are the in such good order. now i'm not sure of the time line but it got to well pass a year since the outbreak, that means that a human body should be nothing but bones buy now or at very best rotting flesh hanging off bones. but we still seeing zombies who look like the died yesterday, now i realize that they will be a few new zombies but there too many for the number of survivor out there

Anyone think that the governer might still be alive, massively unlikely due to the sword through the chest, however, we don't actually see him get shot. I've watched so many TV shows that one of the golden rules for me is if you don't see them die, they can come back ;)
