It really irritates me that I cant find any flavour of NikNaks outside of a multipack other then the spicy one, the one I dont like. I love the hard cheese one, and the scampi and lemon ones!
Also I really miss Cadburys Shortcake Biscuit Bars. You can only get the small size these days, and rarely at that!

This, but plenty of hard or expensive things to buy. Like root beer. Sainsburys used to do there own two litre bottle, but they haven't done that for a few years. So reliant on import shops or world food isle, both of which are very expensive.

If you were in Newcastle upon Tyne, you could head to Wing Hong Chinese cash'n'carry on George Street (near Newcastle College and the Redheugh Bridge) and grab cans of the stuff for 45p each!

And to the thread overall, I'd add "kumquats".... aye, I know it's fruit and I know they're seasonal, but even "in season" (about now I think) I can never find them these days.

There are a couple of items that are still available in places but I can't find locally since I moved to the North East of England. These were (and still are) readily available in Shetland where I moved from about 8 years ago.

1. Kraft Cheesey pasta (one of my guilty pleasures :o). Can't find this anywhere locally so I have to order it by the case from Amazon.

2. Marshall's macaroni. By far the best dried macaroni ever and I won't make macaroni cheese with anything else. I usually bring back about 6 bags of it every time I go to Shetland to visit family. I did find it once in a Morrison's in Newcastle a few years back but haven't seen it since. It's a Scottish company so that may explain why it isn't available in Englandshire.
