EVGA GTX 780 Ti KingPin Edition

Where are you guys getting the 1400Mhz clock from?

Also, I believe the extra 6 pin is purely for the memory. It would allow more voltages, so with decent Sammy memory on there, big clocks should be doable.

I am just saying, I would like to have 1400mhz stock..

Extra memory would be nice since 4k monitors are on the affordable horizon now.

Ahhh ok :) and yer, 4K is dropping in price. Not sure on the quality though and doubt I will be in a rush to swap over.

What monitor have you got now Greg?

Did I see your name in the HoF on HWbot?
If you do have a 4K monitor, is your SLI rig giving you good frames on 4K
Or do you find the 3GB limiting at all?

Did anyone else think this when they saw the Kingpin logo

"Hey man you got a dollar?"

"Nah man I ain't got a dollar"

"OK get back to me when you got a dollar" - Kingpin: Life of Crime, 1999

I run a Dell 1440P monitor as well as 3 Asus VG278H monitors. The wife is using one of my Asus monitors at the mo and I am selling one but I still prefer 120Hz over 1440P.

I was #1 in the enthusiast league for the UK on Hwbot but lost interest and others have left me standing now :( Maybe I will get back to it when 20nm comes out but at the mo, I just don't have the cash to buy new gear.

Nice, I am getting 1440p monitor for the 1st time next week.
Let me know if you find 120hz better as I guess you are better using your cards power in getting more frames. This might change if and when G-Sync comes around.

I used to be really into my hardwarde from 2002 onwards got top end cards.. then I got married and had a kid, my hobby has been dwindling since then. I just got a 780ti on Monday and O/Cing that and seeing the results has given me the bug now. All I want to do is max my machine up. Hard to explain to the missus though hah. She is a scientist so maybe she can use my future quad SLI rig to do some science research ;)

The 1440P does look good with deeper, richer colours but as for the tearing and needing v-sync (creates input lag), no thanks. It is sweet with anything that doesn't require fast moving images (BF3/BF4).

I do miss my 120Hz TN...IPS is unbeatable for colours but for gaming TN wins. 120Hz IPS with sub 4 mili second G2G would be ideal

I was expecting some magical IQ with the 1440P and it didn't happen but I decided to keep it because it does look great in games like Tomb Raider and Batman. I still prefer Batman in 3D though and jaw droppingly good :)

dat smoke is all over me :D
