Which is most likely?

1) The Americans, people who still get confused about the difference between metric and imperial measurements, sent some guys in a tin can into space which they flew to the moon, landed safely, and made it all the way back to Earth again with no injury.

2) The Americans knew they couldn't do it so they recorded it in some warehouse to fool the Russians.

Occam's Razor people.

I do not believe we have a moon. That thing up there in the sky is all an illusion created by some Master race who want to rule the world by controlling how much light we get every night!

That's why I non-believe that we landed on the moon!

And the Soviets, being complete simpletons regarding space missions at the time, and having no access to radio telescopes and such etc, fell for this ruse :p

We SHOULD get a telescope to see if we can find the stuff left behind. If we stick some end to end, we should be able to make one powerful enough.
 
Bit of an idiot. But then again it depends how much he knows and what hes read.
The trouble with CT is they rely on the public not knowing anything and not bothering to do any research.
If you just kept hearing of "issues" for CT that would put doubt. Of course it can be debunked in about 1min but if he hasn't bothered to find out then you can get that response.

Same reason why USA opinion polls have a high amount of doubt.

Conspiricy nuts have this explained. Russia promises to keep quiet about the moon as long as USA keeps quiet about lost cosmonauts. :D

I don't think Russia or the US have telescopes capable of seeing the landing sites. They wouldn't have (or need) the resolution to do so.
 
I want to know what I was tracking with my Grandads Ham Radio when he had me turning his aerial to point at Apollo 11 in real time?
What wizardry did NASA have that we, 1000s upon 1000s of other enthusiasts and radio astronomers all around the world were tracking all the way to the moon & back?
That was a pretty good trick to fool all those people.
