DPD lost my ps4

I have a PS4 being delivered today with DPD, either i'm blind or they have changed the site, but how do i see the number i am and where he his on maps.

I have is a green status bar which shows Collected, at depot, in transit ect.
I can not see any option to view maps / gps ect

Isn't it only the mobile version of the site that has this? Never got it working on my PC but worked every time on my iPhone. Weird.

DHL are better but cost 4 times as much

UPS are the best. They're the grandadys of courier service.

You should have got an email from them where at the bottom is a red button saying "Follow my parcel now". The link of that button is different to the url you end up at. Going directly to the url you end up at or refreshing it is not always guaranteed to work (in my experience) but the url of the button is.

Rubbish, DPD are comfortably the best courier in the country. You might have had a bad experience with them, but that doesn't change how good they are in general.

I would agree, their service is brilliant and my local delivery guy is the best I have ever met.

I had the tracking thing working on my PC no problems.

IMO although the idea of tracking is good and being able to see the van, etc imo that part should not be there. Imagine if a criminal knew exactly where a delivery van was on launch day with let's say 100 consoles in it worth £350 each minimum.

It would be easier than robbing a shop and a much bigger pay off. £35K for at most 2 hours of work.

I think they should have the number of deliveries the driver has done in real time and what number you are. It should not show the location of the van on a map.

When I spoke to my DPD guy he said he had already delivered around 80 consoles that day before he got to me, so it's safe to assume he had at least 100 in there.

Had email off game this morning saying I'm getting a replacement sent out but apparently there's a backlog to get through I just hope I'm not at the back of the que we have a direct email to someone at game who's promised to keep us informed

I know there's a lot of people saying get my money back off game and buy from elsewhere but game is probably my only chance of getting one before Christmas holidays I haven't the time to search around to see if anyone's got any stock neither has the missis

DPD sux big time..I wish OcUK would use a better company

You'll have a hard time convincing most people around here of that - while there is the odd person who seems to have a bad experience with them - probably down to staff attitudes at their local depot/driver - for most people myself included its been the best by a mile out of any courier OcUK has used and atleast comparable to any other courier and far far better than most.

I cant complain, ive had 5 orders from Overclockers and both next gen consoles delivered over the last few years and I have never had a issue. Always turn up in the 1hr window allocated, and always in good condition. Probably one of the best couriers used IMO.

Well this is the 1st time I've had to use Dpd and in all fairness as 1st impressions go I found them incompetent
I can understand that, if they lose your parcel that's of course how you'll see them. Trust me though, they are far better than any other courier I've dealt with, especially Yodel and CityLink. Hopefully you'll get your replacement quickly anyway :)

There's a time delay built into the tracking for this very reason.

the time delay can't be that long, because i was tracking mine and once he got to delivery 153 which was only round the corner from me and i'm delivery 155, within a few minutes he was at my door.

even then the way they do deliveries is in a specific manner so that they do them in a order which means they do ones right next to each other before moving on.

i noticed he was in the new estate where 5 different home companies built homes there just 10 minutes away from me for more than half an hour doing deliveries that day. it's a pretty enclosed area and on the outskirts of where i stay.

all you would need to do is go to his last known location using the map in real time and drive around for 5 minutes, you would soon find him.

imo there should be no map, only a delivery number and where you are in the list.

DPD managed to 'lose' my iPhone delivery too, checked into the depot and never left. I generally prefer them to a lot of companies but trying to get assistance etc for that was incredibly arduous, had to deal with some absolute clowns.

Most couriers will be run in the same ways. It will all be about cost. Cases per hour or cases per litre/diesel. The price they charge will have more effect on the amount of trade they do than anything else, especially from other businesses. They will all use temp or agency staff at this time of year and some agency staff wont be as bothered about being sacked than a perm employee. It's just how it is if you want a parcel from another part of the country delivered to your house for a few £

I can't see it significantly increasing the risk of vans being targeted versus a would-be criminal just looking for a DPD van or whatever anyway. They're not exactly an uncommon sight, you don't need to tracking map to find one.

Well I've finally got an email from game around 4pm this afternoon that they are sending me a ps4 out not the bundle I originally wanted but haven't said when I'm getting it it'll probably be sent out on Monday so might get it Wednesday was hoping I get it this weekend as I'm working all of next weekend
