Nelson Mandela has died

I find it quite strange how the BBC News have 40 different articles about Nelson Mandela's death prepared ready to throw online as soon as it happened. I mean it's good planning, it's just very weird.

To be fair a 95 year old man who's had health problems for years it's hardly surprising his time was coming :p.

He did some awful things, but he also did some incredible things...

I know little of what he did in his earlier years, I'll happily admit that, but the man did some great things in later life.

RIP

Apologies, I forgot that Apartheid was really cool to some OCUK members.

He isn't saying Apartheid is cool, his is recognising what Mandela did and was responsible for in his early early.

Are you really criticising someone for having a balanced view, really?

Wow so many narrow minded people calling him a terrorist, I guess this is the right wing stronghold of GD

Yeah because mass murder of civilians isn't terrorism.

The best thing is most of those praising him are probably doing so off the back of reading the papers without any real knowledge of the atrocities he commited.

If those of you labelling him a great man do so for Bin Laden, Adams et al as well then fair play. I highly doubt it though, hence you are hypocrites.
