*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Ok tried the Twicth live stream last night just for a test seemed pretty good, then I thought I would look at other peoples streams through the PS4, got to watch Angry Joe and his mate Joe play which was cool, then I started to see other shows........

People sitting in their living rooms/fats with the playroom on, just sitting there talking or doing basically nothing, some even calling it their own show???

What the hell is going on?

One guy was just sitting drinking beers and hurling abuse WTF??

I thought Twitch were going to start banning people who weren't playing games? I guess it would take a while to implement and decide who to ban/warn.
 
My mate ordered a Killzone pack from Amazon a couple of days ago. It was scheduled to be delivered on the 12th but he just got an email saying it will be with him on Monday.
 
Order on the 11th Nov and got my Ps4 two days ago :D

It had two numbers hand written on the box, 45 (which was crossed out) and then 52 which wasn'.t
Updated it to 1.51 last night... oh my it's so nice :D Love the contoller.

Now have to wait till xmas day.. :(
 
I just go onto the PS screen for videos... is that what you do? Or are you going via PC?

Most of the PS screen videos are games and ive had some good chats on there with people sharing experiences.

Again thats mostly the twitch ones, its the Ustream ones that seem to be the strange ones (not all of them mind you).

I think its brilliant to be honest, I used to run some local FG tournaments in a local pub, been a while since I did that, but now the possibilities of streaming it at the same time, easily, has peeked my interest again. :)
 
People on here were willing to bet that they would be able to walk into a shop at lunch time pick one up after launch though? what happened to that?

face it, it's pot luck if you get one for cheap unless you buy a HUGE bundle, zavvi still has stock for £720.

when will people learn? i bet the ps5 thread is full of guys complaining that they can't get one, when they were available to pre-order 9 months before hand.

even if your unsure, order one anyway, you will be able to punt it on to someone regardless if you want it or not (talking about ps5 pre orders here)

If every single person pre-ordered 9 months early though, then there would be in the same situation as now, except people will be moaning "I ordered 9 months ago and still nothing!" - Sony can only make machines and get them into the system at a certain pace.
 
I've had no luck in my quest to obtain a PS4. Been looking on the stock informer website for the past week and not managed to get one yet. A supplier had one in stock this morning (can I mention their name?) and I added one to my basket then went to add one game also and went to checkout and my basket had emptied the PS4 and then told me it was no longer available from 'that seller'.

I found a Xbox one in my local Argos yesterday and would have been able to place a reserve on it but then thought about it, I really want a PS4 and I don't like playing football games so I never bothered.

My PS4 quest continues..........

Keep at it, just got to get lucky at the moment :( My local game is getting 2 a week supposedly so it might be easier to win the lotto and buy the £700+ mega bundle lol
