Not sure, here is a test from my desktop background

it appears as though it is not automatic with apple screenshots. Maybe he uses a piece of software to do it.

I donated my posts years ago to a charity thing on here. Is there any way for a Mod/admin to actually let me how many I have really done including those ones?

The drop shadow is only added automatically when you take a screenshot of individual windows.
