Agreed swapped one of my controls from the player bundle to the blue one and it's really nice, seeing the red in the flesh it's very bright and it looked like it would show dirt more than the blue one!

The red one is actually pretty nice, very deep red. I took a couple of pics but it looks saturated but you get the idea:

Yes that is an XBO being squashed by a PS4 (and an X360 behind that), it suffers for not being able to stand vertically :p
 
netflix works well , super hd picture and I can watch movies with a set of headphones via the controller and not upset the missus.. using a 1080 24 " pc monitor in the living room corner on a comfy sofa whilst the missus watches x factor on the telly , totally awesome...

even better, when dragged to bed later, I can remote play resogun in bed lol best birthday present I've had ever..!! great console if you're in a family where the missus hogs the telly lol

nope, if you enjoy it you enjoy it... trying to find ac black flag, 48.99 best prices so far, but 54.99 psn, shocking its 54.99 in game.. psn is convenient tempted but it'd go against ny stance of not buying a ps4 game over 50 quid... should really play a bit more of killzone before buying another game I guess... just sold my PS3 so got funds for more ps4 games lol

I hope they give the option to turn it off completely. I've not got a camera so the light is useless to me.

I liked it a lot too. Just had to be in the right mind to play it. Being used to twitchy shooter for so long it takes a lot to play something different. I enjoyed it though, the ambience of the games was very impressive.

I liked the down time moments with Echo too.

Hmm those shots make it look like the red has been sunbleached - its definitely an interesting hue - really want a white DS4 still...

Anyway so Japan launch is Feb - what games are we expecting to launch for it since its meant to have been delayed to allow Japanese-centric games to be out; so apart from the rumoured Driveclub hitting that launch what else is expected and will it launch across all regions?

Its meant to do other things like indicate what controller you are or in KZ your health, but it does feel like a solution looking for a problem, much like Kinect in all accounts...

Really? I think they look awful! Each to their own :)

Battery life seems decent on PS4 controllers so far - a bit stingy from Sony not including a longer USB cable in the box but 3m cables can be had for a fiver or thereabouts to play wired if battery life is an issue...
 
going to hold of on the second controller until (insert hope) sony release a revised version with better rubber like the ds3 in the sticks
 
I'm quite disappointed with the DS4 if truth be told, just seems small and flimsy. Shoulder buttons are already having issues and i've heard of others experiencing the same.

If only they could do controllers like Microsoft :/

If you looked into it, you would find the XB1 controllers are having far more problems with stuck shoulder buttons, clicky buttons etc

The 360 controller was the ultimate for me, but ergonomically speaking the DS4 has become my favourite. Only after 2-4 hour sessions I realise my hands don't hurt and know it is the best shape.

Battery life is pretty bad when you plug in for audio though, glad I bought a headset. Just need to get Bluetooth support and we've got a decent controller battery life.

Uhm, it's the Xbone that's got controller problems.
 
not sure if it's just my ps4 but during battlefield 4 multiplayer on the PS4 system my screen seems to go blurry every few seconds. Its like you lose focus and it just blurs out for a few seconds it looks like some one is turning on 3d all my other games play well no issues what so ever Its very frustrating :(

It's an effect built into the game to show an enemy commander is using an EMP UAV in the area. Everyone hates it though so they're patching it out.
 
They finally released Knack's quest on android, least it didn't take as long as rockstar with iFruit. May give this another go then on a harder difficulty soon!
